CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:15 by Club Vice-President Todd Everitt. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were Twenty one (21) members present including eleven (11) officers and committee chairs, and one guest.
 
Meeting Minutes for the January,(Regular Meeting), Annual Meeting and January Committee Meeting              
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of January 9, 2025 were read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers.
There was a motion to approve by Ron Walter and 2nd by Mike Fabian. All approved
 
The Secretary’s Meeting Minutes for the 93rd Annual Dinner Meeting was read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers, There was one correction noted that the Proceeds from the Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot should have read “from the proceeds Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club donates $1,500.00 dollars to 4H.”There was a motion by Tom Blackman and 2nd by Jim C. Mayers to approve as noted. All approved
 
The Secretary’s Meeting Minutes from the January 23, 2025 Committee Meeting was read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers. There was a motion by Ron Walter to approve. The motion was 2nd by Jim C. Mayers. All approved
 
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for January 2025 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub.  There was a motion by Ken Mathews and 2nd by Ron Walter to approve the Treasurers report. All approved.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
 
ARCHERY   (Officer – Matt Forba)  
Matt not in attendance, no report
 
TRAP   (Officer Fred Guyette, Fred not in attendance)
Open Trap on Friday nights is ongoing.
Fred provided copious email memos and notes for Todd to express.
It was expressed that the Friday night open trap is ongoing.
The Winter League is in week six (6). Week five was cancelled due to rain.
Scheduled ATA shoots are scheduled to commence in April.
County League signup sheet is in the Trap Lounge. Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club is looking for two teams. Bob Tucker has the details.
12 Gauge shells are available to club members at $90.00 per 10 box case.
Income for Trap and Skeet will be noted at the March meeting
 
 INDOOR RANGE   (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that he turned in $161.00 from the range fee box.
It was noted that SporteRifle is now in the 19th week (match) of a scheduled 21 match schedule. Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club record to date is 8 wins and 9 losses.
 
Buildings & Grounds   (Officer Ron Walter)  
Ron stated “All is ok”.
 
Outdoor Shooting Sports   (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that he has turned $200.00 from the range fee box. All is well.
 
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike not in attendance. No report.
    
12- GUN RAFFLE   (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The February 2025 winner is Bill Gamble. The winning ticket was# 339. Bill won a Ruger Mini-14 TAC 556 with a synthetic stock and a 20 round clip.
 
The 2025-2026 Twelve Gun Raffle tickets are still available.
 
SUPPLIES (Chairperson Reggie Raynor)
Reggie not in attendance. Call Reggie if there is any supplies needed.

OLD BUSINESS 
(From Fred’s numerous email notes) Fred noted the Annual Dinner was attended by 85+ and thanked all who donated raffle baskets and items. Fred thanked Todd and crew for the excellent dinner.
Fred also noted that the Gun Bingo was again a huge success. The Club profited approximately $11,000. Thanks to all who attended and helped make the Bingo a success. Fred also noted thanks to Zeke and Meaghan for programing the 75” TV to be used to enhance the Bingo process.
The 75” TV was Bingoed off on the last buy-in which brought in approximately $1,500.00
 
Reminder; we have an ongoing bottle and can drive. Bottles and cans may be left in the shed next to the clubhouse. All proceeds are donated to Leukemia Cancer Research.
 
Gun Bingo (Pistols) is scheduled for March 8th at Tall Pines Players Club. 
 
 NEW BUSINESS
(from Fred’s email notes) Fred noted that we need to purchase additional Bingo Cards and Daubers. The cards will cost $500.00 and the daubers at $12.75 per dozen.
The 2nd 75” TV originally purchased to be “purchased off” at the “Pistol Bingo” was actually raffled off at the Tall Pines Super Bowl Party. The Club realized $700.00 from this raffle. Another 75” TV will be purchased for the Pistol Bingo event.
 
Fred is proposing a “2025 Club Olympic Day” This event will include Five (5) rifle shots from 75 yards any rifle or shotgun, Ten Clay targets at the Trap Range any shotgun, Five Archery shots at 30 yards for Compound bows, 20 yards for Traditional and 50 Yards for Compound bows, Ten casting tries at 10 yards any fishing pole, and lastly five pistol shots (no distance noted)  no magnum pistols.
Awards to include Top Male, Top Female, Top Male Youth and Top Female Youth.
A chicken BBQ to follow at $15.00 per dinner. This event is for members and their families only. A flyer was passed around with no comments noted.
 
 
 
There were three (3) New Member Applications submitted for approval.

Each applicant introduced himself and expressed an initial reason to join.

 ATTENDANCE  POOL
The name drawn for the January attendance pool was none other than Lori Raub.  
 
ADJOURNMENT  
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00
 
Committee Meeting following the regular meeting adjournment to review the three new membership applications as noted above. All approved.
