CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:00 by President Fred Guyette. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were Nineteen (19) members present including eleven (11) officers and committee chairs and eleven (11) guests
4H Presentation of Scholarships;
Club President Fred Guyette presented a check in the amount of $500.00 to James Grassafi and $500.00 to Naomi Cross. James and Naomi participated in the National 4H Archery tournament
in Grand Island, Nebraska. They shared their experiences regarding their trip and the tournament.
Archery In the Schools Awards;
Club President Fred Guyette presented Madelyn Rhinevault and Austin Zeleski a check in
the amount of $1,000.00 each. Coach Tom Oleniacz related the great success Madelyn and
Austin at the National Archery In the Schools Program in Kentucky. The Montrose Area
Archery In the Schools program presented the Club with a “Thank You” plaque.
Meeting Minutes for the June 13, 2024 Regular Meeting
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of June 13, 2024 were read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers.
There was a motion to approve by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Jim C. Mayers. All approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for June, 2024 was read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers. There was a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Tom OLeniacz to approve the Treasurers report. All approved.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer – Matt Forba)
Matt noted the July shoot was the best attended shoot to date. There were 33 shooters. There was
no report on the income from the July shoot
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Open Trap on Fridays continues .
It was noted that the County League has completed the season. The County League banquet is scheduled for Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club. Raffle baskets are needed. Silver Lake to donate the meat.
Registered ATA shoot is scheduled for July 15th.
12 Gauge shells are available to club members at $90.00 per 250 round case.
Friday night trap income as follows; 4th $240.00, 17th $460.00, 21st $275.00, 28th $195.00
23rd $92.00, 5th 156.00. Skeet income (uncertain)
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom not in attendance, no report.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted all is well. Ron thanked Tom Oleniacz for all his help.
It was noted that the container top needs to be sealed. Ron also reqwuested tha those who use the ranges, please pickup after themselves.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack not in attendance. No report..
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike not that the Legislature is working to make Sunday hunting legal.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The July 2024 winner is Les Hoyt, phone #607-857-9010 Winning ticket was ticket #324. The July gun is a Savage Axis II XP 270 Cal. w/ a wood stock.

OLD BUSINESS
Reminder; we have an ongoing bottle and can drive. Bottles and cans may be left in the shed next to the clubhouse. All proceeds are donated to Leukemia Cancer Research.

There were two new member applications as follows:

It was noted that Fred Guyette has a signup sheet for 4H shirts for sale

The name drawn for the July attendance pool was Jim C. Mayers. (2nd month in a row)
