Winter 2021/2022 News Letter

Our Annual Meeting and Dinner is scheduled for Sunday January 16, 2022. It will start at Noon, with dinner at 1:00 and Annual Meeting following the meal.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR.

The Annual Dinner will be held at Neuman Hall on SR Rt. 267 next to the Choconut Market.

There will be raffles (baskets and guns).  Renewal of membership will take place as will the annual officer elections.

The Club will be supplying the meal roasted pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, candied carrots, and dinner roll with butter (menu subject to change).  Soda, water and coffee will also be provided.

We are asking members this year to bring only Appetizers and Desserts (no entrees please).  Also, there are plenty of serving utensils available, so there is no need to bring any serving utensils with you.

There will be many baskets to be raffled off.  There will also be 2 guns raffled off. The 12 Gun Raffle tickets will also be available. This is a great way to help support the club, by purchasing and selling tickets. Where else can you purchase a ticket with 12 chances to win a great gun for $20.00??

This club is no different than any other organization. 10 – 15% of the membership does all the work and the other 85 -90 % let them.  I know we all are busy but we have one of the best Rod & Gun Clubs anywhere. We really need some of you to step up and help make it even better.

Open/ATA trap shooting is held every Friday. For more detailed information check with Norm McPherson at (607)-669-4116 or Fred Guyette (570)-663-3005. Winter trap league will commence on Friday January 14th and run for 10 weeks. Cost is $10 entry fee and $10.00 for 50 targets, per week.

Winter Sporter Rifle & pistol league, see or call Raelene Coy (607)-237-5656 or Dave Byerly (570)-663-3127.

There are a number of events happening at the club. Be sure to check the club website at www.silverlakerodandgunclub.com., and our Facebook page for
