Eighty Sixth Annual Dinner and Meeting
ANNUAL MEETING
Call to Order:
Meeting called to order at 2:15 PM by President Bob Kuhn. Pledge of Allegiance and moment of silence for all those protecting our security preceded the roll call of the members present.
Roll Call:
The Secretary stated that seventeen (17) Committee members/Officers and One Hundred twelve (112 ) Regular and Lifetime Members had signed in. This exceeds the necessary membership requirements to hold the Annual Meeting and election of new Officers and Directors. Therefore, no roll call of members is required.
MINUTES OF THE LAST REGULAR MEETING and Committee Meeting
The Secretary minutes of January 11, 2018 were read and approved on a Motion by Mike DiPaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer. .
Treasurer Report:
The Treasurer’s Report was read and detailed by Treasurer, Bette VanWinkle. The report was approved on a motion by Mike DiPoala and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.

Standing Committee Reports:
Archery: Officer ChristiAnne Storman
ChristiAnne noted that they have obtained donations from Neils Archery and Crossbows, Insight Archery. New dates for the upcoming 3D archery season to be submitted to the Press and Sun-Bulletin. Also new flyers and dates have been submitted for the club website.
If there is any interest to have an Indoor Winter Archery league, please contact Fred Guyette.
Trap: Officer Fred Guyette
Fred thanked Norm, Jack and Tucker as well as all who have helped throughout the past year with all trap events. Fred noted that the last Winter
Trap League winner was Holden McPherson. Fred also noted that the Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot went well. The Friday night trap shoots have commenced.
Indoor Range: Officer Tom Blackman
Tom noted several improvements have been made or are about be made to the indoor range, among them is the ledge has been lowered. This was done for those who seem to think the ledge is a target. Will be getting and installing new thicker steel deflector plates.
The Indoor Winter Pistol League is scheduled to commence next Sunday.
Dave Byerly also noted that the Sporter Rifle League is now in the 14th week of a 21 week season. There are eight teams from NY State and PA. Our Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club team has 8 wins and 4 losses.
SASS: Officer Jack Revie
Jack noted that SASS in in hibernation for the winter and will resume on the 3rd Sunday in April.
Buildings and Grounds: Officer Ron Walter
Ron noted that all is well with grounds and buildings. Ron thanked all who helped throughout the year with mowing grass and snow removal.
PFSC: Mike DePaola, chairman,
Mike noted that the last meeting was routine. Mike also noted that he was elected President for Susquehanna County PFSC.

Awards;
Bob Kuhn presented Reggie Raynor and Bette VanWinkle gift certificates to Red Lobster for their outstanding work for the club throughout the year.
Bob also presented all Committee Chairpersons and Officers a sweatshirt with the Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club logo embroidered on them.

Jack Revie nominated Bob Kuhn for President. Motion 2nd by Ed Smith. There were no further nominations from the floor. Motion by Jack Revie to close the nominations, 2nd by Ed Smith. Motion carried. Secretary Jim Mayers cast one vote for Bob Kuhn. Bob elected as Club President for 2018
Nominations for Vice President:
Jack Revie nominated Dan Hungerford for Vice President. Motion 2nd by Mike DiPaola. There were no further nominations from the floor. Motion by Dave Shaffer to close the nominations. Motion 2nd by Mike DePoala. Motion carried. Secretary Jim Mayers cast one vote for Dan Hungerford for Vice President. Dan Hungerford is elected as Vice President of the Club for 2018
Nominations for Secretary:
Ed Smith nominated Jim Mayers for Club Secretary. Motion 2nd by Jack Revie. There were no further nominations from the floor. Motion by Mike DiPaola to close the nominations, 2nd by Ed Smith. Motion approved. President Bob Kuhn cast one vote for Jim Mayers as Club Secretary. Jim Mayers is elected as Club Secretary for 2018.

Jack Revie nominated Bette VanWinkle for Club Treasurer. Motion 2nd by Dave Shaffer. There were no further nominations from the floor. Motion by Mike DiPaola to close the nominations, 2nd by Bob Kuhn. Motion carried. Secretary Jim Mayers cast one vote for Bette VanWinkle as Club Treasurer. Bette VanWinkle is elected as Club Treasurer for 2018.
Nominations for PFSC Representative:
Jack Revie nominated Mike DePaola for PFSC Representative, motion 2nd by Ed Smith. There were no further nominations from the floor. Motion by Jim Mayers to close the nominations, motion 2nd by Jack Revie. Motion carried. Secretary Jim Mayers cast one vote for Mike DePaola for PFSC Representative. Mike DePaola is elected as PFSC Representative for SLR&G Club for 2018.
Nominations for Directors for years 2017 and 2018:
It was noted that the terms of Jack Raynor, Dennis Byerly, Dave Shaffer and Jack Legg is expired as of today January 14, 2018.
All but Dennis Byerly have agreed to allow their names to be nominated for the same position for 2018-19.
Jack Revie made a motion to reelect all three Directors for another term. Motion 2nd by Jim Mayers. There were no further motions from the floor. Motion by Bob Kuhn to close the nominations, motion 2nd by Jim Mayers. Motion carried.
Secretary, Jim Mayers cast one vote for each Director as follows; Jack Raynor, Dave Shaffer and Jack Legg. Jack, Dave and Jack are elected as Directors for 2018 and 2019.
Motion made by Bob Kuhn to elect Bob Tucker as Director for 2018 and 2019. Motion 2nd by Jack Revie. With no further nominations a motion made by Jim Mayers to close the nominations. 2nd by Dave Shaffer. Secretary Jim Mayers cast one vote for Bob Tucker. Bob Tucker is elected as Director for 2018 and 2019.
This concludes the election of Officers and Directors for 2018. Congratulations to each for assuming these Club responsibilities.
Door prize winners and Raffle Winners:
There were two 50-50 winners at $59.00 each. Lori Raub was the first winner and donated the money back to the club. The 2nd winner was Ken Matthews. Ken took $30.00 so he could take his wife out to diner and donated the rest back to the club.
