2022 Archery Shoot Results & Scores
On Sunday May 1, 2022, Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club held its first 3D Archery shoot of the season.  A total of twelve (12) shooters participated. There were five (5) score cards turned in, all of which were tabulated in the Open Class Archery category.  The top three (3) scores follow:

Matt Forba  278 7x
Kris Pawelski  276 4x
Brian Davis  269 4x

Thanks to all that came out to support our efforts.

A special thanks to the regular monthly crew of Traditional/Longbow archers; rumor has it, they never miss but refuse to turn-in score cards, allowing other participants honorable mention.

On Sunday June 12, 2022, Silver Lake Rod & Gun held its second 3D Archery tournament of the season.  A total of Twenty-one (21) archers participated.  Shooters registered in five separate classes including, Men's Hunter Class, Women's Hunter Class, Open Class, Junior Class and Traditional/Longbow Class.  Not all score cards were turned in; the following scores were recorded:

Women's Hunter Class:

Junior Class:

Ronnie Jacoby Jr.  247 3x

Open Class:
Steve Moxen  281 10x
Mark Mitchko  254 2x

Men's Hunter Class:

This group of the usual five men shot the course as always but didn't record scores.

Thanks to all that came out to support the efforts of the Silver Lake Rod & Gun.

Another announcement will soon follow, revealing this season’s 3D Archery champion(s).

As a reminder, to qualify, one must register a minimum of three monthly scores.  If more than three scores are registered, the top three scores will be averaged for an overall score; all X’s are cumulative.

3D Archery Season 2022
Final Wrap

The 2022, 3D Archery season has come to a close but turned out to be one of the best in recent years.  Overall numbers were up, the weather was good for every event and we had ten (10) different archers potentially qualify for club champion status in 3D Archery.  The takeaway is that we had many returning competitors, month after month, as we continue our pursuit in growing 3D Archery attendance.
That said, to qualify, one must attend a minimum of three events and register his/her score up to a possible score of 300 (X’s are tie breakers for each event but are cumulative throughout the season).  The three best scores are averaged to identify one's overall score and every X is counted.

Of the ten (10) archers mentioned above, records indicate that only five (5) turned-in/registered three or more scores to meet the minimum prerequisite of three scored events, leaving five archers vying for club champion status 2022.

All finalists will be mentioned.
