     High Power Rifle

High power rifle shooting from 100 yards to 400 yards.

SAFETY ALERT

Notice!
The 100 Yard Range will be closed June 30th between 1:30 and 4:30

22 LR Shoots at Silver Lake
 6 Shoots - May 10 & 24, June 7 & 21, July 12 & 26
  • These are all Tuesdays - Sign in is at 5pm. Shooting starts at 5:15pm.
  • Cost is $30 per shooter, payable at the first shoot you attend. This fee gets you in to all 6 shoots. The shoot fee is not prorated for missed shoots.
  • These are tactical type shoots, similar to NRL22 and precision rifle matches. A good example video can be found on YouTube at "Precision 22LR Competition - KYL at SO yards from improvised positions".
  • Guns must be flagged when not in use.
  • Round count required for each shoot will be between 30 and 100.
  • No limitations on equipment but only 22 LR is allowed.
  • Anyone without guns is welcome to use my guns with your ammo.
  • Each shoot will have one main drill. It can be shot multiple times if time permits.  The drill will be different for each of the 6 shoots.  The drills will be accuracy based with some speed elements and par times included.
  • Shooting distances will vary between 25 and 100 yards, and may include different distances in the same drill. Shooting positions will vary as well, and may include prone, sitting, kneeling, standing, as well as shooting positions off of various props.
  • There will be physically challenging aspects to this! Be ready! Prepare to have to change shooting positions while "on the clock", and to move between props during the drills.
  • If interested or if you have questions contact Tom Blackman at 607-768-3816

Notice!
Just a reminder that there is a $3 per person target fee for the outdoor ranges as well as the indoor ranges. Your contributions help maintain and upgrade the shooting areas. Please clean up after yourself too.
                                                    Thank you!

Notice!

Anyone caught shooting signs on club property will be asked to leave and have their membership revoked!
Also NO Breakable Targets are to be used on the 100 yard range, and any and all targets must be kept no more than half way up the back berm.  This is a serious safety issue.

This is your club, treat it with respect and the safety of everyone in mind.
