Ninety First Annual Dinner and Meeting
ANNUAL MEETING
Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 2:05 PM by Club President Fred Guyette. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders.
Roll Call:
The Secretary stated that fourteen (14) Committee members/Officers and (34) Regular and Lifetime Members had signed in. This exceeds the necessary membership requirements to hold the Annual Meeting and election of new Officers and Directors. Therefore, no roll call of members is required.
MINUTES OF THE LAST REGULAR MEETING
The Secretary minutes of January 12, 2023 were deferred until the next regular monthly meeting.
Treasurer Report:
The Treasurer’s Report was read and detailed by Treasurer, Lori Raub. The report was approved on a motion by Dave Shaffer and 2nd by Mike DePaola.
Regular Checking Balance; $ 268.90
Discipline Savings; $ 2,422.53
Youth Account; $14,269.70
Savings Account; $ 35,010.01
American Funds; $ 28,481.69
Royalty Account; $ 3,238.06
Fred noted numerous reasons and causes why we had to increase the renewal fees for membership.
Standing Committee Reports:
Archery: Officer Jim C. Mayers
Jim notes that 3D attendance has been down. The club spent $1,500.00 for new targets in 2022. Income totaled $1,037.00.
Jim also announced that Matt Forba will be taking over the Archery chair.
Trap: Officer Fred Guyette
Fred noted that the Winter League Friday night shoots has commenced.
Fred thanked Norm McPherson for all he does.
The Monday ATA shoots will commence in April. Averages number of shooters is anywhere from 6-12. All are welcome to come and shoot.
Fred noted that Ken Burnett was the top gun at last year’s Winter League. Zeb Raub came in second and Fred followed in third place.
The Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot as usual is scheduled for the first weekend in June. All proceeds go to support Susquehanna County 4H.
A Memorial shoot is also scheduled to provide a $1,000.00 scholarship.
Indoor Range: Officer Tom Blackman
It was noted that the Sporterifle League is ongoing, 14th week of 21 weeks. Expenditures $600.00 Income $1,500.00.
Sunday Lunch League is continuing. There are approximately 12 husband/wife shooters.

Outdoor Shooting Sports: Officer Jack Revie
Jack noted Net income from the range fee boxes amounted to $215.00. Expenditures amounted to $106.90
Buildings and Grounds: Officer Ron Walter
Ron noted all is well. Fred noted that a BBQ pit is scheduled to be built before the Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot.
PFSC: Mike DePaola, chairman,
Mike noted all is well with PFSC. See website for further details.
Bottle Drive: Ron Hollenbeck
Ron noted that he has collected over $$1,500.00 in bottle returns and has turned it over to the Leukemia Society. Ron thanked all who leave refundable bottles and cans in the woodshed next to the clubhouse. All are welcome to donate their return bottles and cans and leave them in the metal shed next to the clubhouse.
Awards;
Fred handed out vests to the Officers and Committee members.
Fred also distributed gift cards to Tom Spencer, Carrie Spencer, Zeb Raub, Tammy and Chuck Wildenstien for all the over and above work and help they provide for the club.
New Business:
Election of Officers and Directors:
Tom Blackman as nominating chair, noted that the Treasurers term has expired. Tom nominated Lori Raub to continue as Treasurer. Jim E. Mayers 2nd the nomination. There were no further nominations. By a show of hands, Lori Raub was reelected as Treasurer.
The office of Vice President has also expired. Tom Blackman nominated Todd Everitt as Vice President. Jim Mayers 2nd the nomination. With no further nominations, Todd Everitt was elected Vice President by a show of hands.
Directors whose terms have expired include Bob Tucker, Bob Kuhn and Dave Byerly. Each of these Directors has said they are willing to have their names allowed for nomination. Tom Blackman nominated Bob Tucker, Bob Kuhn and Dave Byerly. Jim E. Mayers 2nd the nominations. There were no further nomination(s) from the floor. By a show of hands Bob Tucker, Bob Kuhn and Dave Byerly were reelected as directors for 2023 and 2024.
This concludes the election of Officers and Directors for 2023. Congratulations to each for assuming these Club responsibilities.
New appointments include Pete Holleran as Kitchen chairman.
Fred gave a general outline regarding the upcoming Jackpot Gun Bingo at Tall Pines Players Club. There will be five “high end” guns as well as five buy in games. Some of the buy is may be guns or cash. Only 100 tickets will be sold at $150.00 per ticket. The tickets include the guns, prizes, buffet lunch and an open bar from 1:00 until games are over. See Fred for tickets and further details.
50 50 Drawing
There was a 50-50 drawing. The winner of the 5050 was Pat Natale. Pat won $76.00.
