Eighty Seventh Annual Dinner and Meeting
ANNUAL MEETING
Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 2:05 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders.
Roll Call:
The Secretary stated that sixteen (16) Committee members/Officers and (43) Regular and Lifetime Members had signed in. This exceeds the necessary membership requirements to hold the Annual Meeting and election of new Officers and Directors. Therefore, no roll call of members is required.
MINUTES OF THE LAST REGULAR MEETING
The Secretary minutes of January 10, 2019 were deferred until the next regular monthly meeting.
Treasurer Report:
The Treasurer’s Report was read and detailed by Treasurer, Bette VanWinkle. The report was approved on a motion by Dave Shaffer and 2nd by Mike DePaola.

Standing Committee Reports:
Archery: Officer ChristiAnne Storman
ChristiAnne noted that she will have flyers ready for next 3D season. There will also be some changes in registration times and dates. Please see website for changes.
Christi Anne also thanked Reggie and Jack Raynor, Ed Smith and Ron Jacoby for their help this year.
Ron Jacoby to set up a Winter Indoor Archery League for those interested.
Trap: Officer Fred Guyette
Fred noted that the Winter League Friday night shoots will commence on January 18th. Fred thanked Norm McPherson for all he does.
The Monday ATA shoots will commence on April 8th. Fred thanked Bob Tucker for his work this past year. Jerry Homsher to take up Bob’s duties this year.
Fred noted that Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club came in 2nd place in the Susquehanna County Trap League this past year.
The Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot took in $2,972.75 on Saturday and $4,186.55 on Sunday. There was also a $425.00 in donations.
Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club donated $1500.00 to the 4H from the Roger Everitt funds.
All venues grossed $11,908.35
Expenses for the year includes Trap maintenance $1,442.92, PFSC dues $334.80, PFSC dinner $50.65, Susquehanna County Trap League, $60.00 and $140.65 for necessary purchases. Total $2,029.02.
Meat Shoot took in $273.00. A special thank you to Bob Tucker and all who helped.
A special thanks again to Norm and Lucy McPherson for the food and Lori Raub for keeping the kitchen organized.
Indoor Range: Officer Tom Blackman
Tom noted all is well. The new steel has been installed at the range. Jacketed bullets are ok. No magnum loads.
SASS: Officer Jack Revie
Jack noted that SASS was quite slow this year. One major reason was the bad weather.
Buildings and Grounds: Officer Ron Walter
Ron noted all is well.
PFSC: Mike DePaola, chairman,
Mike noted all is well with PFSC.
Awards;
Bob handed out gift cards for Red Lobster to the club officers.
Bob Also gave out hooded sweatshirts to Dave Shaffer, Tom Blackman, Fred Guyette, Bob Tucker and Ron Jacoby for their weekend of work installing the new steel backstop at the indoor pistol range.
New Business:
Election of Officers and Directors:
The Nominating Committee headed by Tom Blackman and Jim Mayers noted all existing officers and directors have offered to serve another term in their respective roles. Bob Kuhn had originally planned on retiring after serving as President for 12 years graciously consented to serve another year.
On a Motion by Tom Blackman and seconded by Rip VanWinkle All existing officers and Directors were nominated to return. Motion to close nominations by Jack Legg and 2nd by Tom Blackman. All approved.
Secretary Jim Mayers cast one vote for each of the following;
Bob Kuhn for President, Dan Hungerford for Vice President, Bette VanWinkle for Treasurer, Karl Eschbach as Director for 2019 and 2020, Rip VanWinkle as Director for 2019 and 2020, and Dave Byerly for Director for 2019 and 2020, Mike DePoala as PFSC Rep. for 2019.
President Bob Kuhn cast one vote for Jim Mayers as Secretary for 2019.
This concludes the election of Officers and Directors for 2019. Congratulations to each for assuming these Club responsibilities.
