CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:10 PM by Club Secretary Jim Mayers. The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 28 members present including thirteen (13) Officers and committee members, and one (1) guest.
Meeting Minutes for March 9, 2017
The meeting minutes of March 9, 2017 were read and approved on a motion by Ron Walter and 2nd by Dave Byerly.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for March 2017 was read and approved on a motion by Dave Shaffer and 2nd by Ron Walter.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $17,112.34
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $6,147.63
Youth Account balance ------------------- $5,596.78
Savings Account balance ----------------- $11,596.36
American Funds balance ----------------- $41,419.78
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
It was noted that the Winter Indoor Archery League has concluded. A fish fry will be held on April 27 beginning at 2:00 PM. Bring a dish to pass.
ChristiAnne noted that the first 3D shoot of the season will be held on Sunday May 7. She noted that she and Scott will complete the set up in the next week. She also noted the need for help in the kitchen for the shoot
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted that the Friday night shoots are continuing and have also resumed the Monday afternoon shoots.
It was noted that the Grace Baptist event went very well last Saturday. Jack Raynor and Bob Tucker helped conduct the event on behalf of the club. Grace Baptist donated $200.00 over and above what was agreed to for them to hold their event at the club. There were 45 shooters at the event.
The County Trap league was held the following day (Sunday 4/9). Between the two events the club took in $140.00 for the kitchen and $800.00 for trap. Reggie Raynor and Dick Leavenworth worked the kitchen.
There were 14 shooters at the Monday (4/10) ATA shoot. For the weekend 1.5 pallets of birds was used.
It was noted that the Annual Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot will be held on the first weekend of June. Donations and raffle baskets are requested.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that he turned over $99.00 for January from the fee box.
Tom noted that the rubber at the backstop is totally shot up and needs replacing. This will be a Spring Work Day project.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that all is well.
Ron noted that the 3’ x 3’ stone stations for the skeet range are on site. Two pieces are broken and will be replaced.
It was noted that Karl Eschbach has donated a trailer to be used with the mule.
The new 2017 combination locks will be completed by 5/1.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted the first shoot of the season is scheduled for Easter Sunday, all are welcome.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike not in attendance. Ed Smith noted that the deer harvest for 2016 was up 6%.
Ed noted that the use of air guns for taking small game has been approved.
Ed also noted that he has PFSC raffle tickets available for $5.00 ea. or three for $10.00.

12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The April 2017 gun winner is Kristen Bennett 1965 Franklin St. Binghamton, NY (516) 567-4849 Ticket # 600. Kristen won a Savage B mag 17 cal. Winchester Super Mag. With 3x10 Bushnell Banner scope. Karl to notify Ms. Bennett.

INTERNET WEB SITE (Chairman Ed Smith )
Everything ok with the website. Reminder, there is now a page for Members Only to buy, Sell or Trade items. Ed noted that he is somewhat disappointed that club members are not taking advantage of the members sale items.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan not in attendance, no report.
OLD BUSINESS
Fred noted that backstop steel is necessary for the indoor range. He noted that we will need five 4’x8’ x 3/8” sheets of steel. Fred to get a price proposal for our next meeting.
Fred also noted that he will need help for the skeet shoots. Ed Smith noted that he believes Mike DePaola is interested in helping with the skeet shoots.
Tom and Patty’s Ladies hand gun class went well. The next class is tentatively scheduled for June 24th. Limit eight (8) per class.

Reviewed numerous items noted by Bob Kuhn and read by Jim Mayers for the Spring Work Day on Saturday April 22. All members are encouraged to show up.
Breakfast served from 7:00 AM till 8:00 AM. Fred Guyette, Reggie Raynor and Jim Mayers will be your gourmet cooks.
John Shaffer is requesting to install a small shed for the Boy Scouts to store their various items to be left on site. It was suggested that a movable 10’ x 10’ shed be installed. Fred Guyette suggested that the back portion of the metal wood shed be partitioned off and a door installed for the Boy Scout use.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the April 2017 attendance pool was Damien Kildare. Damien was not in attendance and missed out on a $120.00 pool. The May attendance Pool will be worth $131.00.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM on a motion by Dave Shaffer.

There were thirteen officers and Committee Chairpersons in attendance. The New Membership applications listed above were reviewed and approved.
Jim Mayers noted that Tom Oleniacz called and is requesting the use of the club for two Sundays and one Saturday to help train 6 students for the regionals for the Archery In the Schools program. All approved.
