CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President, Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty six members present including thirteen officers and committee members and two guests.
Meeting Minutes for the March 14, 2019
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of March 14, 2019 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePoala and 2nd by Roger Marsh.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for February 2019 was read by Jim Mayers and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Ed Smith.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $16,479.25
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $ 9,971.19
Youth Account balance ------------------- $9,062.95
Savings Account balance ----------------- $9,321.60
American Funds balance ----------------- $46,104.97
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne noted thanks to Dan Hungerford, Ron Hollenbeck and Ron Walter for their help with the 3D course.
Christi Anne also noted that she has notified the Scranton newspaper and Dave Henderson with the upcoming 3D season schedule.
The first 3D shoot is scheduled for Sunday May 5th. Ed Smith has all dates posted for the upcoming season..
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted all is well with trap. It was also noted that the Susquehanna County League has commenced. Fred turned in $753.50 from the weekly Friday night league and $391.00 plus $65.00 from the ATA shoot on 4/8/19.
On April 28, 2019 Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club will host the Susquehanna County Trap League shoot. It was noted that the Troop 50 Boy Scouts have a breakfast scheduled for the 28th.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted all is well with the Indoor Range. Tom also noted he has $113.00 from the range fee box. . Tom also noted the need for additional rubber for the backdrop curtain.
We have barrels to use for lead cleanup. We also need to purchase respirators to do the work.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that all is OK. It was noted that a downspout on the north side of the club house has been repaired.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack not in attendance. Dave Shaffer noted there was nothing to report.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted the monthly PFSC meeting was hosted by Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club. The meeting was a typical monthly with nothing special to report.

12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The April 2019 gun winner is James Moore, no address, ph# 570-934-2820. The winning ticket was # 312. Mr. Moore 12 gauge “Coach Gun”. Karl to notify Mr. Moore.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan noted that all is well with the kitchen. Dan also informed everyone that Reggie Raynor notified him that someone used the George Foreman grill and did not clean it when they were done.

NEW BUSINESS
Spring Work Day is scheduled for Saturday May 4, 2019. Breakfast to be ready at 7:00 AM, work to commence at 8:00 AM. Dan to cook breakfast. Jim Mayers to provide a Spring Newsletter.
There were two (2) new membership applications to review as follows;
It was noted that we need a HEPA vacuum cleaner to be used during the cleanup and lead removal work. Also HEPA respirators will also be necessary. Motion by Dave Shaffer to purchase a HEPA vacuum plus respirators not to exceed $500.00. motion 2nd by Lori Raub. All approved.
Fred Guyette is requesting a computer to be used by the Trap League and also can be used for any club function that would benefit. Fred to get a price quote.
Zeb Raub noted there was a group of shooters beyond the swamp (towards our neighbor George Capwell) last Sunday that seemed to be doing a lot of shooting. Ron Walter noted that is was the group from Dimock. Ron to notify the Chief of Police in case Mr. Capwell wanted to blame us.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the April 2019 attendance pool was Tom Blackman. Tom WAS in attendance and won $12.00. The May pool will be worth $12.50.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM on a motion by Dave Shaffer.

The two (2) new member applications noted above were reviewed and approved.
