CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:04 by Club President, Bob Kuhn, The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty three members present including thirteen officers and committee members and three guests.
Meeting Minutes for the July 12, and the Committee Meeting of July 12, 2018
The meeting minutes of July 12, 2018 and the Committee Meeting of July 12, 2018 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Christi-Anne.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for July 2018 was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Ed Smith.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $17, 297.32
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $ 3,727.80
Youth Account balance ------------------- $13,862.95
Savings Account balance ----------------- $9,319.73
American Funds balance ----------------- $44,137.32
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne noted that the scheduled 3D shoot held on August 5th had 30 shooters. The registration and kitchen took in $327.75
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted all is well with Trap. The past several Friday nights, including 7/13, 7/20/ 7/27, and 8/3 have brought in $749.50. The Registered ATA shoots om 7/13 brought in $429.00 (17 shooters) and 7/30/18 brought in $454.00 with 14 shooters.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that he has turned over $31.00 from the range fee box.
Need to schedule the new steel installation and also the lead removal.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter, Ron not in attendance, off fishing)
It was noted that the mounted bear near the old bar area is coming off the wall. Tom O. also noted the subfloor at the handicap toilet is starting to rot.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack not in attendance. It was noted there were only 12 shooters at the last cowboy shoot.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike reported that at the last PFSC meeting the discussion centered around new bag limits.
There will be a Hunter Safety Course held at SLR&G Club on September 9, 2018
PFSC raffle tickets are available. See Mike or Ed and get a handful of tickets.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The August 2018 gun winner is Nicole Calby 152 Ridge Road, Montrose, PA (570)351-2357
Winning ticket was #564. Nicole won a Mossberg 930 Duck Commander 3” 12 gauge shotgun.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack noted all is well. If anyone needs supplies, please call Jack’s house.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan reported the kitchen is good. Susquehanna Trap League Banquet will be held this Saturday at Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club. Bring covered dish.
OLD BUSINESS
Christi-Anne noted the new archery targets have been delivered and installed for the last 3D shoot of the season.
It was noted that Bob Kuhn offered the next door neighbor $25,000 for the property which was declined. A subsequent offer of $40,000 was also declined.
NEW BUSINESS
It was noted that Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club won $500.00 at the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department’s Barrel-O-Bucks drawing.
There were seven (7) new Membership Applications to review as follows;
It was determined that we need three volunteers to form a Nominating Committee for the election of Officers and Directors in January. Jim Mayers volunteered. We still need two more volunteers to form the committee.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the August 2018 attendance pool was Paul Coney. Paul was not in attendance and missed out on a $69.00 pool. The September pool will be worth $79.00
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 PM on a motion by Mike DePaola.

The Seven (7) new member applications as noted above were reviewed and approved.
