August 13, 2020
Called to order at 1907 by club President Jim Mayers.
The meeting opened with Pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 18 members present including 10 officers and committee members. There were also 3 new applicants present.
Meeting minutes of July 9, 2020 were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Mike DePaola to accept report with minor documentation updates and seconded by Roger Marsh. Approved unanimously
Treasurers Report of July 9, 2020 meeting was read by Jim Mayers with a motion made by Mike DePaola to accept report as read, seconded by Dave Shaffer.

Standing Committees
Archery – Officer Jim Mayers Jr. reported on the August 2nd shoot stating there was a low turnout with only 12 shooters (3 members and 9 guests).

Jim turned in $150.00 (registration $109.00 and $41.00 food).
Due to loss of May 2020 shoot another shoot has been scheduled for October 4th with another weekend to be scheduled for pickup/end of season
Trap – Fred Guyette reported on the July 13th, July 20th, and August 3rd ATA registered shoots

Winter League banquet was held on July 24th with a delicious fish fry. Winter League winner was Tim Burnett. Due to Covid many participants did not finish the league. Five names were drawn randomly for 2 boxes of shells each with winners as follows:
Dave Shaffer, Ken Burnett, Tom Blackman, Zeke Raub, and Jeff Martin
Money turned in – Trap – ATA 7/13 $60, 7/20 $152.55, 8/3 $295 Friday Night 7/10 $248.25, 7/31 143.20, 8/7 244 for a total of $1143.00
Indoor Pistol Range- Tom Blackman reported that not much is going on and he turned in $83.00.
Building and Grounds – Chairman Ron Walter was absent and nothing reported.
Outdoor Ranges-- Chairman Jack Revie reported that people need to clean up after themselves so others don’t have to. Jack turned in $222.00 (this included skeet money)
PFSC Chairman - Mike DePaola reported a lack of attendance at the meeting. There was going to be some form of raffle to be held in place of what is normally a part of the Harford Fair which was canceled due to Covid this year. With no youth field day a family field day event was being looked at possibly at the end of September. Will provide additional information at September meeting.
12 Gun Raffle – Chairman Karl Eschbach – not present
August winner- Keith Bennett ticket #596 - won Winchester SX4 Upland Field 12 ga. 28in barrel semi auto. Fred to contact Keith.
Supplies – Chairwoman Reggie Raynor - not present Jack Raynor stated everything is going well with no issues.
Internet Website - Ed Smith not present no report
Kitchen - Dan Hungerford noted all is good. As a side note 4 tables were used by Dan with 2 of the 4 being broken with screws missing.
Old business – Fred reported that the cooling/ heating system invoice for the Trap lounge is at had to be sent twice as it was not received the first time. Everything has now been resolved with that issue. Fred noted that he talked to Karl to install as soon as possible but he is very busy. Fred to keep in touch with Karl.
Jim Mayers Jr reported on Challenge Coins with a company Coin Force USA which is veteran owned and run in the state of Washington. A club logo was initiated for one side of coin with other side being specific to Archery, Trap etc… Lots of 100 would be needed for cheaper pricing after initial fee for setup for each design. A design will be looked at before being finalized. It was also stated that there were leftover steaks which can be used for Archery shoot (along with frozen rolls)
Jim Mayers Jr reported that service on the tractor has been completed.
Jim Mayers and Fred Guyette to schedule a meeting for purchase of skeet machines discussed at July meeting.
New business – Tom Oleniacz discussed sign out front needing to be refurbished. He will take care of getting price for refurbish.
Discussion of location and condition of shooting benches. Dave Shaffer and Bob Tucker will look at building new bench(es) along with proper placement. Possibly when drainage is being done. Also noted a target fashioned from old brake rotor that will be removed.
Raylene Coy will take over as captain of the Sporter Rifle team in September.

Adjournment- with no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1950 on a motion by Jim Mayers Jr and 2nd by Dave Shaffer. Approved unanimously
Committee Meeting- after regular meeting, there were 10 officers and committee members in attendance. Bob Kuhn was called via cell phone to make quorum. The four (4) new applicants were reviewed with all unanimously voted to approve membership.
With no further business to discuss the Committee meeting was adjourned at 2000
