August 12, 2021
Called to order at 1907 by club President Jim Mayers.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty three (23) members/guests present including eleven (11) officers and committee members (Jim Mayers, Laura Foote, Lori Raub, Jim Mayers II, Bob Tucker, Tom Blackman, Dave Shaffer, Dave Byerly, Jack Revie, Clark Burr, Bob Kuhn).
Meeting Minutes of July 8, 2021 Regular Meeting were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Tom Blackman to accept report with minor updates in grammar/spelling seconded by Dave Shaffer. Motion approved unanimously.
Treasurers Report – July report for 2021 was read by Lori Raub with a motion made by Dave Shaffer to accept report, seconded by Dave Byerly. Motion approved unanimously.
July – Regular Checking balance – $4,652.00
July - Discipline Savings Account balance – $7,386.87
Youth Account balance- $16,985.14
Savings Account balance- $43,672.56
American Funds Balance- $29,999.78
Royalty Account balance – $1,668.80
Total Balance $104,365.15
Standing Committees
Archery – Jim Mayers II reported July 11th shoot there were five shooters four members and one youth, no food sold. August 1st shoot there were seventeen shooters, money turned in for both shoots was $222.00. New archery targets were discussed and are being ordered (Fallow Deer, Gazelle, and Goat) for $1294.00 with discounts.
Trap/Skeet – Fred Guyette not in attendance, Bob Tucker reported that the next ATA shoot is scheduled for Monday August 16th. Friday night open shooting continues.
Meat shoot will be held on Sunday October 3rd with dates posted on the website and Facebook
Skeet traps are ready to be installed and will need help to install in high house
New PAT traps should be delivered toward the end of August

Indoor Pistol Range - Tom Blackman reported the range is being used and all is good with $156.00 turned in.
Building and Grounds – Chairman Ron Walter not in attendance. Tom Oleniacz is mowing and stone has been delivered.
Outdoor Ranges - Chairman Jack Revie stated that everything is good. Rubber mats and steel plate are up on the 100 yard range.
PFSC Chairman - Mike DePaola not in attendance. Ed Smith stated there is a lot going on in PA but it is on the back burner as summer months are slow. Ed stated there is a lot of ambiguity in the game laws and everyone should read and call Mike Webb/Ben Rebbuck for interpretation.
12 Gun Raffle - August’s winner – Rick F. -
Wicked Ridge Invader G3 crossbow package.
Supplies – Jack Raynor reported everything is good.
Internet / Website - Ed Smith reported that the PA Game Commission is now accepting NRA hunter safety which can be completed online to get hunting license. Sporter Rifle information has been posted.
Facebook – Lori Raub reported the sporter rifle information has been posted. Debbie Adams will be contacted to get pictures from county league awards dinner.
Kitchen - Dan Hungerford not in attendance, no report provided.
Old Business – Fred Guyette talked to Karl Eschbach about the water tank.
County League banquet/awards dinner was held at Silver Lake Saturday August 7th with 80+ people attending. Silver Lake placed 2nd in the league. Thank you to Dan Hungerford for doing the kitchen.
New Business – Neumann Hall has been reserved for the Annual dinner/meeting to be held January 16th 2022.
Fall work day Saturday September 25th.
Roger Marsh asked if anyone interested in a pistol league (there is a bullseye league and the New Milford Rifle/Pistol club has something), contact John Ord/Bob House for information
There were three (3) new applications for membership.
Dylan James Thompson – from Montrose, PA – sponsor Jack Legg
Alexander E. Wilcox – from Binghamton, NY – sponsor Evan Everitt
Steve Tilyou – from Vestal, NY – sponsor Teresa Swartz
Attendance Pool - for $160.50 Mark Schadt was drawn as the winner. Mark not in attendance with money being rolled to September drawing.
Adjournment - with no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1952 on a motion by Bob Tucker and 2nd by Dave Shaffer. Motion approved unanimously.
Committee Meeting - after regular meeting, there were eleven (11) officers and committee members in attendance. The three (3) new applicants were reviewed with two (Steve Tilyou and Alexander E. Wilcox) unanimously voted to approve for membership.
Dylan James Thompson’s application was discussed and it was voted (by majority) to deny Dylan’s membership application
With no further business to discuss the Committee meeting was adjourned at 1956.
