CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:00 by Club President Fred Guyette. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were seventeen (17) members present including nine (9) officers and committee chairs and four guests.
Meeting Minutes for the July 13, 2023 Regular Meeting
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of July 13, 2023 were read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers. There were no corrections or additions. There was a motion to approve by Roger Marsh and 2nd by Pat Natale. All approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for July 2023 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub. There was a motion by Bob Tucker and 2nd by Roger Marsh to approve the Treasurers report. All approved.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer – Matt Forba)
Matt noted the August 6 3D shoot brought in 23 shooters. Income for the day was $323.00.
Matt also noted that he has sold several old targets for $80.00.
Fred noted that the 3d course looks very good.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Bob Tucker noted that the Friday open trap is ongoing.
Trap income; 7/14 trap $200.00 (ATA), 7/21 $150.00, 7/25 $289.00, 8/7 $350.00 Total $989.00
Skeet income; 7/7 $57.00, 7/14 $90.00, 7/21 $77.00 Total 294.00
It was noted that the next ATA shoot is scheduled for 8/17
It was also noted that ATA membership starts on 9/1/23
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom not in attendance
The painting of the raw wood walls is in a holding pattern
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron not in attendance.
It was noted that the latest rains have washed some of the driveway out. Driveway in need of repair.
Bob Tucker noted the Trap Lounge needs a new door.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that all is well. Jack also noted that he turned in $87.00 from the range fee box.
Work on the 100 yard shooting station will commence this weekend. Lori to post notice on FaceBook.
Bob Tucker requesting adjustable chairs/stools for the 100 yard range and the 400 yard range.

12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The August 2023 winner is Andy Shaffer. The August raffle was for an Wicked Ridge Invader Xbow. The winning ticket number was 272.

OLD BUSINESS
Fred noted that he has spoken with John Dovin regarding the Archery In The Schools program. It was noted that the government will no longer sponsor the program.
NEW BUSINESS
Fred noted that he has received Trap and Skeet sew-on patches for 25 straight. Patches are $5.00 per patch.
There were two (2) new membership applications read as follows;
It was noted that the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Company is planning on a Captain and Crew golf tournament Sunday October 15 at Tall Pines Players Club. Entry fee is $100.00 per player, $400.00 per team. Fee includes cart, greens fee, breakfast, lunch, roast beef dinner with a band.
Mike Fabian noted that he has spoken with Frank ?? who is a Conceal Carry Instructor. The class is a three hour class. Number of attendees’ 3-6 people. If interested call Mike.
Fred noted that we have switched insurance companies. We are now insured by Erie Insurance at a substantial savings
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the August attendance pool was Ron Walter. This is the 2nd month in a row that Ron’s name has been drawn. Ron failed to attend the meeting and lost out on a huge payday of $21.00 in cold hard cash. All tickets in the bucket will be thrown out. September will have a winner.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55.
