Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club
Special Board of Directors Meeting
December 15, 2020

Called to order at 1902 by club Committee Chairman Dave Shaffer.
There were thirteen (13) officers and committee members in attendance.

Agenda:  Annual Dinner, Elections, Scouts

ANNUAL DINNER (January 17, 2021 at Silver Lake):
A discussion of how the annual dinner would be structured due to the COVID-19 pandemic was held.  Details were discussed and will be sent out in the annual newsletter.  CDC and PA state guidelines will be followed limiting the number of people inside the building at one time, face coverings and social distancing.  There will be three time slots for attendees based on alphabetical last name.  Information will be uploaded online and to Facebook.

Dan Hungerford will be providing the meal consisting of Roast Pork, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Green Bean Casserole and a dessert in a microwaveable container.
Basket donations are needed.

Meeting will be held at 5pm to finalize elections.
New combination for the upcoming year will be 4440

ELECTIONS:
Three Board of Directors positions are up for election with Bob Kuhn and Dave Byerly agreeing to run for reelection.  The election committee chair Tom Blackman will speak with Bob Tucker and Eric Lukovich to run for these positions as well.   If they agree and once any additional nominations come in a ballot will be created for mail in, drop off or email return.

SCOUTS:
Chuck Birks boy from Troop 50 is going through chemo for brain cancer.  The Troop has asked to run a gun raffle at the annual dinner (through silver lake separate from scouts).  Logistics need to be determined but they will be responsible for tickets/flyers and handling of gun (likely at Manny’s just like our monthly raffles).  Tickets and flyers will be at Montrose Sporting Goods.  Someone from the scouts will have gun at the dinner for viewing and tickets.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1952.
