Regular Meeting
December 11, 2014
CALL TO ORDER
7:05 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn.
The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 17 members present including 11 Officers and committee members.
Secretary Meeting Minutes for September
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of November 13, 2014 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The October Treasurer’s Report was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
The November Regular checking account balance is $844.83
The Discipline Saving Account balance is $5,049.18
The Youth Account balance is $3,835.77
The Savings Account balance is $6,049.20.
American Funds (CD) balance $48,474.36
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer Tom Oleniacz,)
Tom noted that the Winter Archery League will commence on Tuesday January 6, 2015 and run for 12 weeks.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted the Winter League will commence on Friday January 9th 2015. The league will run for 10 weeks and cost a $10.00 entry fee then $4.00 per 50 bird round.
It was noted that Norm McPherson will be the 2015 ATA Representative.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Sam Williamson)
Sam noted that he turned in $50.00 from the range fee box.
Sam also noted that the Sporter Rifle League is now into the 10th week.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron not in attendance.
It was noted that the firewood storage building has been installed. It was further noted that the boy scouts will stack the firewood in the new storage garage.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack not in attendance.
Dave Shaffer noted that the money from the last shoot needs to be turned in.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted that there was no meeting last month.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach) Karl not in attendance.
The December 2014 gun winner is Brad Haskell 3502 Saddlemire Road, Binghamton, NY 13903. 607-669-4423. The winning ticket number was #201. Brad won a Winchester Super X3, 20 gauge w/ walnut stock, 3” Win choke and back-bored shotgun.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack noted everything will be ready for the Annual Dinner Meeting.
INTERNET WEB SITE (Chairman Ed Smith/Linda Alvelo)
1. Linda not present. Ed Smith noted that he has a new site up and running.
2. The new website address is www.silverlakerodandgunclub.com.
3. Ed is requesting members to provide pictures to be included on the new website.
KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford) Dan not present
1. No report.
OLD BUSINESS
Annual Dinner Meeting scheduled for Sunday January 11, 2015. Registration to begin at 12:00 noon. Jim and Bette to be at the club by 11:30 to set up for registrations and renewals.
Baskets are requested for raffles.
Bette has purchased a new laptop for club business.
The downstairs furnace is not been completed. Fred to contact Dan Hungerford to see what is required to complete.
NEW BUSINESS
Jim to get out a Winter Newsletter regarding the Annual Dinner Meeting and other club items.
Letter to be emailed and snail mail for those w/o email addresses. Dennis to provide mailing labels.
There are two new membership applications to review as follows;
1. Robert J. Charpinsky Jr. 38 Hawley Street, Binghamton, NY 13901 (Binghamton PD) sponsor Jim Mayers
2. Mike Zwick 6 Rose Lane Apalachin, NY sponsor Tom Laskowski. There were no objections from the floor.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The December Attendance pool name drawn was Ed Shelp. Ed was not in attendance and missed out on a $19.50 jackpot.
The January pool will be worth $29.50
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:42 PM.

There were eleven (11) officers and committee members in attendance. There were two (2) new member applications listed above. Reviewed and approved both applications as noted above.
Reviewed the 12 Gun Raffle selections for 2015-16. The following guns were selected for the next drawing year;

October 2015 – Lyman Deer Stalker 50 cal. Flintlock. Left over from 2012 winner took cash.
November 2015 – Savage MK II SS BBL Laminated Thumbhole 22 cal. Cost -- $360.00
December 2015 – Remington 11-87 3” 12 ga. Sportsman Field w/checkered walnut stock. Cost ----- $650.00
January 2016 – Savage Model II Trophy Hunter 223 cal. w/ Nikon 3-9x40 BDC scope and synthetic blued BBL Package. Cost -------------- $460.00
February 2016 – Leopold Ventana 20 – 60x80 Spotting Scope Kit w/ soft and hard case and tripod. Cost ---------- $415.00.

Fred and Karl to order guns from Manny and have tickets ordered and available for the Annual Meeting.
