CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 18 members present including 11 Officers and committee members.
Meeting Minutes for November 10, 2016
The meeting minutes of Nov.10, 2016 were read and approved on a motion by Ron Walter and 2nd by Roger Marsh.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The November 2016 Treasurer’s Report was read and approved on a motion by Dave Shaffer and 2nd by Dennis States.
November Regular Checking – Balance $10,576.32
November Disc. Savings – Balance $ 5843.07
November Youth Account - Balance $ 6,096.78
November Savings Account - Balance $11,594.60
November American Funds- Balance $52,485.79
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –chairman required)
It was noted that the Winter Indoor Archery League is scheduled to commence on Tuesday January 10th, 2017.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette, Fred not in attendance )
Bob Tucker noted the Christmas party is scheduled for Friday 12/16. All are welcome. Bring a dish to pass.
The Winter Trap League is scheduled to commence on Friday January 13. The league will run for 10 weeks with 50 birds per week.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Sam Williamson, Sam not in attendance)
Dave Shaffer noted the Sporter Rifle League is in the 11th week. Dave also turned over $37.00 from the range fee box.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that the toilet room plumbing needs to be completed. Dave Shaffer will install the toilet. The Rent-A-John to be returned.
Ron noted that he has purchased a vacuum and a PA system.
Dennis States noted he has turned over $56.45 from the range fee box(s).
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that SASS is in hibernation for the winter.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola, Mike not present)
No report. It was noted that Ed Smith had a triple bypass done.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The December 2016 gun winner is Dennis States. Dennis won a Winchester Super X pump combo w/ two barrels. The winning ticket number was #542.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
No report.
INTERNET WEB SITE (Chairman Ed Smith, Ed not present)
It was noted that Ed is recovering from a triple bypass.
Reminder, there is now a page for Members Only to buy, Sell or Trade items.

Dan noted all ok.
OLD BUSINESS
A Thank you card from Abby Onyon Cook, Susquehanna County 4H Educator was read.
NEW BUSINESS
There was one (1) new member application.
Bob Kuhn, Jim Mayers and Dan Hungerford to meet with Joe Homan at Neuman Hall tomorrow morning to discuss our needs for the Annual Dinner to be held there on 1/15/17.
It was noted that Fred Guyette and Karl Eschbach are getting a list established for the next 12 Gun Raffle Year.
It was also noted that we need raffle baskets for the Annual Dinner.
Jim Mayers to send via email a Winter Newsletter to inform all members regarding the Annual Dinner date and location. For those who do not have email addresses, Jim will make a personal phone call.
As always, the club will be providing the turkey, ham and drinks for our annual dinner.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the December 2016 attendance pool was Russ Seidel. Russ was not in attendance and missed out on a $76.50 pool. The January attendance Pool will be worth $88.50.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 PM on a motion by Dave Shaffer 2nd by Roger Marsh.
Committee Meeting
It was extensively discussed the need to revise our procedure for new members. We have new members that most if not all of the committee does not know. Several options were discussed including having the new member applicant attend the meeting he or she wants to be admitted into the club. Also discussed requiring the sponsor sign the application and attend the meeting also.
There were eleven (11) officers and committee members in attendance. There was one (1) new member application as noted above. Applications was reviewed and approved.
Need to have a Committee meeting to choose the guns for the 2017, 12 gun raffle.
With no further business to discuss the Committee meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM.
