CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:02 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 26 members present including fourteen (14) Officers and committee members.
Meeting Minutes for November 9, 2017
The meeting minutes of November 9, 2017 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Jack Raynor.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for November 2017 was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $16,010.11
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $ 2,223.10
Youth Account balance ------------------- $9,231.12
Savings Account balance ----------------- $ 7,721.51
American Funds balance ----------------- $43,573.82
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne was not in attendance.
It was noted that the Indoor Winter Archery needs someone to take charge. Otherwise there will not be a Winter Archery League for 2018.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred was noted all is well. Turned in $446.50 from Trap activities, plus an additional $101.00 from Friday shoots. Friday night trap is continuing as normal. A Christmas party is scheduled for December 29th. Bring a dish to pass. The party will be held in the Trap Lounge.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that not too much was happening. Tom turned in $73.00 from the range fee box. Tom noted that the range sill at the target line has been lowered. Plans for replacing the steel are still in progress. Need money.
Dave Byerly noted that the Sporter Rifle League is ongoing. They are in the 11th week of a 21 week league. The team record stands at 8 wins and 2 losses. Dave noted all are welcome to come and join in the competition.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted all is well. Still waiting for a refund check from Warner’s Gas for propane.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted all is quiet for the winter.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted there was no meeting in November. Ed Smith noted that Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club bought/sold the most raffle tickets. For further details see the club website.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
Karl was not in attendance.
The December 2017 gun winner is Mark Payne from Kirkwood, NY. The winning ticket was # 549. Mark won a Winchester Super X 12 gauge shotgun. Jim Mayers to contact Mr. Smith.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack reported all ok. If anyone needs supplies, please call Jack’s house.

Ed noted all is well with the website.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan reported the kitchen is good. Dan noted that he will need help in the kitchen for the Annual Dinner on January 14th at Neuman Hall.
OLD BUSINESS
Ken Barnes not in attendance to set up dates for the De-Fib training. The class if for use on adults is 2 ½ hours, if for use on children it will be 4 ½ hours.
Jim Mayers noted that he will be sending out a winter newsletter via email.
NEW BUSINESS
Tom Oleniacz requested the club to provide 15 sheets of cardboard (in the clubhouse basement) to be used for the Montrose High school Archery in the Schools Program. Motion made by Fred Guyette and 2nd by Critter to donate the cardboard. All approved.
Dennis States requested that the club purchase steel gongs for the rifle ranges. Dennis made a motion to purchase a 10” gong at 400 yards, 8” at 300 yards, 6” at 200 yards and 2- 4” at 100 yards. Cost amount for gongs $187.00. Motion 2nd by Jack Revie. Motion approved.
There were four (4) new Membership Applications to review as follows;
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the December 2017 attendance pool was Luis Diaz. Luis was not present.
The January 2018 attendance Pool will be worth $45.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM on a motion by Dave Shaffer.

The four (4) New Membership Applications as listed above were reviewed and approved. With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 8:15.
