CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President, Bob Kuhn, The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty four members present including fifteen officers and committee members and one guests.
Meeting Minutes for the November 8, 2018
The meeting minutes of November 8, 2018 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for July 2018 was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $13,811.85
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $ 6,271.23
Youth Account balance ------------------- $12,062.95
Savings Account balance ----------------- $9,320.67
American Funds balance ----------------- $45,300.03
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne noted that all is well with Archery, no activity. Christi Anne noted that Ron Jacoby will run the indoor archery league this winter.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted all is well with trap. Money turned in from previous shoots include the following; 11/30/18 - $144.00, Meat Shoot, $340 plus kitchen after paying for the meat.
Trap party scheduled for 12/21.
Bob Kuhn noted the Skeet range is now operational.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom not in attendance. Critter noted the rubber for the indoor range has been installed.
Dave Byerly noted the Sporter Rifle League is now in their 11th week. Their record stands at five wins and five losses. Dave turned in $112.00 from the Sporter Rifle shooters and mailed $69.00 to the NYS Sporter Rifle Association.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that all is OK. It was noted that the eave trough on the south side of the building has been repaired. Critter and Ron worked on the repairs.
It was noted that Hinds has replaced the propane tank.
Paraco still needs to come and remove their tank.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that the SASS season has concluded.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike reported that at the last PFSC meeting was short and sweet. There were no Conservation officers in attendance nor was the State Rep.
Ed Smith noted that House Bill 1483 is being reviewed and it is a very BAD bill for all gun owners and hunters. Ed strongly urges all members to contact their representative and uge them to vote against HB 1483. See Club Website for further information.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach, Karl not in attendance)
The December 2018 gun winner is Jerry Homsher, phone number 607-743-6110. The winning ticket # was 397. Jerry won a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Browning “A” bolt 300 Win Mag rifle with a Zeiss 4-12x42 scope.
Fred noted that he is getting the list of guns for next year’s 12 gun raffle from Manny tomorrow. It was determined that we will need to hold a special Committee Meeting on Thursday 12/20 to select the guns for next year. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM at the club house..

INTERNET WEB SITE (Webmaster Ed Smith)
Ed noted all is well. It was noted that the officers email address have been removed from the website due to possible attacks.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan noted all is well with the kitchen. Dan advised that he will need extra help in the kitchen for the Annual Dinner scheduled for January 13 at Neuman Hall in Choconut. We will need 7 turkeys cooked for the dinner. Dan also advised that he will be making a vegetable dish so there will be no need for members to bring vegetables to pass. It was determined that members are to bring either an appetizer or a dessert.
OLD BUSINESS
Jim Mayers to publish a Winter Newsletter and email it to the club membership.
Fred noted that we need members to provide baskets to be raffled off at the dinner meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
It was noted that Spectrum will be on site 12/17 to install internet, cable and phone.
Critter noted that the Cub Scouts will have a breakfast with Santa at Neuman Hall on 12/15 from 8:00 until 11:00 AM.
There were there three (3) new membership applications to review as follows;
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the December 2018 attendance pool was Robert Henry. Robert was not in attendance and missed out on a $115.00. The January pool will be worth $126.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:54 PM on a motion by Jack Legg.
Committee Meeting
The three new member applications noted above were reviewed and approved.
A letter from Arrowhead Bible Camp was read. They are requesting a donation of $500.00 to help provide archery equipment for the disadvantaged clients they have throughout the summer. We have previously provided them with a similar donation. Motion by Jim Mayers to provide the requested $500.00 donation to Camp Arrowhead. Motion 2nd by Jack Revie. All approved.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10.
