Called to order at 1905 by club President Jim Mayers.
The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty-one (21) members present including fifteen (15) officers and committee members (Jim Mayers, Dan Hungerford, Laura Foote, Lori Raub, Mike DePaola, Dave Shaffer, Clark Burr, Jim Mayers II, Bob Tucker, Bob Kuhn, Dave Byerly, Ron Walter, Jack Revie, Tom Blackman, Fred Guyette). There were also two (2) new applicants present.
Meeting Minutes of January 8, 2021 Special Board of Directors Meeting were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Dave Shaffer to accept report with minor updates (spelling/grammar/attendee names) seconded by Tom Blackman. Motion approved unanimously.
Meeting Minutes of January 14, 2021 Regular Meeting were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Jim Mayers II to accept report with minor updates (spelling/grammar) seconded by Ron Walter. Motion approved unanimously.
Meeting Minutes of January 17, 2021 Annual Meeting were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Dave Shaffer to accept report with minor updates (spelling/grammar/dates/donation from Montrose Sporting Goods/No Roll Call/explanation as to why meeting looked different this year due to COVID) seconded by Ron Walter. Motion approved unanimously.
Meeting Minutes of February 3, 2021 Committee Meeting were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Jim Mayers II to accept report with minor updates (spelling/grammar) seconded by Dave Shaffer. Motion approved unanimously.
Treasurers Report – Annual year end report for 2020 was read by Lori Raub with a motion made by Dave Shaffer to accept report, seconded by Jim Mayers II. Motion approved unanimously.

January report for 2020 was read by Lori Raub with a motion made by Fred Guyette to accept report, seconded by Dave Shaffer. Motion approved unanimously.

Standing Committees
Archery – Jim Mayers Jr. will go through targets to pick two (2) to be identified for replacement by the end of March when the weather warms. Rhinehart targets hold up well (the three (3) that were replaced in 2019). Approximate cost for target replacement will likely be in the $2-3K range. A tentative archery shooting schedule will be provided to Fred Guyette to be added to the Silver Lake calendar of events.
Trap/Skeet – Fred Guyette reported that the Winter League is going well with a bottle of wine being awarded to the high score each Friday. The Susquehanna County Trap League meeting was held with no major rule changes from previous shooting year. One additional rule added that each club to provide hand sanitizer and masks while following all CDC guidelines for COVID-19.

The upper trap/skeet/five stand wiring has been updated. A wireless skeet controller has been ordered and should be arriving quickly as it is coming from Buffalo. Trap schedule for ATA has been approved and will once again be Friday evenings throughout the year. ATA has provided six (6) free one year memberships for anyone interested in signing up as a new member. There continues to be a good group of people shooting skeet on Friday mornings at 10am. Bills of $468.00 and $1649.00 have been received and paid to the electrician for the wiring updates being made. There are still additional wiring updates that need to be made. Money turned in for trap/skeet 1/15/21 $240.00, trap 1/22/21 $268.00, 1/22/21 skeet $64.00, 1/29/21 trap $55.00, 2/5/21 trap $236.00 total money turned in $863.00.
Indoor Pistol Range - Tom Blackman stated the range continues to be used and all is good. Money turned in $151.00. Tom also stated that the rubber is pretty well shot up and will be replaced in a couple of weeks after the Sporter Rifle League ends. Fred will get the rubber. Tom stated the area will be cleaned up and if anyone is keeping anything in this area it should be removed or likely will be trashed.
Building and Grounds – Chairman Ron Walter stated the motion light was hung below and is working. No stone has been delivered yet.
Outdoor Ranges - Chairman Jack Revie nothing to report.
PFSC Chairman - Mike DePaola stated that the last meeting was held the last Thursday of January at the Rush Middletown club. This was the last meeting at this club as there are less than a handful of members ranging in age from 60-90 and the club will be folding.
12 Gun Raffle –
February winner – Ryan Webster with ticket number 228 - won Mossberg Patriot .22-250 cal., with LBA trigger. Ticket sold by Ron Walter who will contact the winner.
Supplies – The Raynor’s stated everything is fine.
Internet / Website - Ed Smith not in attendance with no report provided.
Facebook – Lou Schreiner not in attendance with no report provided.
Kitchen - Dan Hungerford stated over 190 meals were served at the Annual Dinner.
Old Business – Fred Guyette stated that Ron Hollenbeck is collecting returnable cans/bottles for Leukemia. UPC code needs to be readable.
New Business – It is with a heavy heart that Bob Kuhn reported the passing of Jack Legg’s wife. Silver Lake will send Sympathy Card.
Jason Shilinski given Lifetime Membership plaque, congratulation to Jason.
Linda Alvelo, not in attendance, given Honorary Membership plaque for years of donated money to maintain web name domain. Thank you to Linda.
Fred Guyette received Honorary Lifetime Membership for years of hard work generously volunteered to the Silver Lake Rod and Gun Club. Thanks to Fred for all that he does.
Dan Hungerford stated that he needs help on September 15th – 18th on the Sporting Clays course in Friendsville, including scorekeepers. There will be a picnic and free day of shooting for anyone who volunteers at this event. The shoot is open to anyone interested. Dan is looking for 15-17 volunteers per day of the event.
There are two (2) new applications for membership. Both were members previously.

Adjournment - with no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 2000 on a motion by Fred Guyette and 2nd by Jim Mayers II. Motion approved unanimously.
Committee Meeting - after regular meeting, there were fifteen (15) officers and committee members in attendance. The two (2) new applicants were reviewed with all unanimously voted to approve membership.
With no further business to discuss the Committee meeting was adjourned at 2002.
