CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 22 members present including 12 Officers and committee members.
Secretary Meeting Minutes for Dec. 10, 2015
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of December 10, 2015 were read and approved on a motion by Fred Guyette and 2nd by Dennis Byerly
TREASURER’S REPORT
The December 2015 Treasurer’s Report was read and approved on a motion by Tom Oleniacz and 2nd by Ron Walter.
October Regular Checking – Balance $3,079.07
Oct. Disc. Savings – Balance $1,918.94
Oct. Youth Account - Balance $4,950.70
Oct. Savings Account - Balance $10,372.18
Oct. American Funds- Balance $48,017.27
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer Jordan Parsons)
There was no report. It was noted that the Winter Archery League is in the 2nd week.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted that nothing has changed since the Annual Meeting. Friday night trap shoots are continuing. It was also noted that we need teams for the Susquehanna County League.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Sam Williamson)
Sam noted he has $105.00 from the range fee box to turn over, as well as $204.00 from the Sporter Rifle League..
It was noted that there is interest in setting up a hand gun training on Saturdays.
Fred noted the existing steel backstop is getting weaker. Consideration for getting ½” steel instead of the existing 3/8” steel. It was noted that this may allow the use of jacketed bullets. It was further noted that despite the sign for “No Jacketed Bullets” shooters continue to use jacketed bullets. It was noted that we should consider mandatory training for all indoor pistol shooters. It was further noted that we should have a card reader system to gain access to the pistol range. Fred to put together a price quote for the committee.
Sam to contact Dave Byerly to reopen the idea of a retrieval system.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that the snow plow is ready. It was also noted that the chimney extension and cap has been installed.
Ron noted the eve gutter is bowed. Ron or Fred to contact Tim Fruehan to make repairs.
It was further noted that the mower deck is in need of new wheels.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Dave noted the SASS operations are in winter hibernation and will resume in the spring of 2016.
May need to consider canceling the August shoot due to a conflict with Tioga.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
No report. Meeting scheduled two weeks from now.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The January 2016 gun winner is Steve McGlade from New Milford. The winning ticket was #068.Steve won a Savage MDL 223 w/scope.
Karl noted that he has the 2016-17 12 gun raffle tickets to sell.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
No report.

OLD BUSINESS
Bob Kuhn presented Tom Oleniacz an award for the twelve years Tom served as the Archery Chairman. Bob also awarded Ron Walter a sweatshirt for the work he and the subcommittee members did for the new Trap Lounge work. Ron was absent at the Annual Dinner when Bob awarded the sweatshirts to the other sub-committee members.
NEW BUSINESS
There are seven (7) new member applications to review and approve.
There are as follows;
It was noted that there is an agreement between the Chemung County (NY) Sherriff and the Tioga County (PA) that will allow legal conceal/carry across state lines.
Tom Oliniacz requested the club to donate money to the Montrose Archery In the Schools Program. There was a motion by Fred Guyette and 2nd by Ken Barnes to donate $500.00 to the Montrose Archery In the Schools Program. Motion approved.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the January 2016 attendance pool was Ron Walter. Ron won $21.50.
The February attendance pool will be worth $11.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM on a motion by Ken Barnes.
Committee Meeting
There were twelve (12) officers and committee members in attendance. There were nine (9) new member applications as noted above. All applications were reviewed and approved.
