CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:04 by Club President, Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty two members present including eleven officers and committee members.
Meeting Minutes for the December 12, 2019
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of November 14, 2019 were read and approved on a motion by Tom Blackman and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for December was read and approved on a motion by Fred Guyette and 2nd by Dave Shaffer, All approved.
December 2019 Regular Checking balance $ 556.00
Discipline Savings $ 5,146.75
Youth Account $ 13,466.34
Savings Account $ 9,323.72
American Funds $ 49,836.53
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –Jim Mayers II)
Jim noted that there will be two used archery targets auctioned off at the Annual Dinner. Jim also noted that he will be changing the 3D targets from the present targets to Rhinehart targets. The changeover will be gradual. The two used targets being auctioned will be replaced with the newer more efficient Rhienhart targets.
It was also noted that there is an informal indoor archery league on Tuesday evenings. All are welcome
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted the Friday evening trap is continuing. Also, the Winter Trap League will commence on Friday January 10, 2020. This is scheduled to be a 10 week league.
It was noted that Jerry Homsher passed away the day after Christmas. Jerry was our ATA Chairman. Fred noted he is trying to get the ATA scores up to date.
Fred turned over $799.06 from the Trap functions.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom turned in $141.00 from the range fee box. Everything else is fine.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted all is well.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
It was noted that there was nothing to report. SASS has shutdown.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike not in attendance. Ed Smith noted that there will be three Sundays selected to allow Sunday hunting in 2020. One each in Archery, Gun and TBD seasons.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach, not in attendance)
The January 2020 gun winner is Tom Ruda from 1226 Campville Road, Endicott, Phone # 315-570-6128.
The Winning Ticket# 290. Tom won a Ruger 10/22 w/ a walnut checkered Manliker stock.
Jim Mayers to contact Mr. Ruda.

Reggie noted everything is ready or will be for the Annual Dinner.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan noted all is well. He is ready for the Annual Dinner
OLD BUSINESS
It was noted that we need volunteers to bring raffle baskets for the Annual Dinner.
Fred noted that rubber backstops at the 100 yard rifle range are pretty well shot up and need replacing. (Cow Mats)
NEW BUSINESS
Tom Blackman noted that he has scheduled another handgun class for Saturday January 25. Class is fairly maxed out. Tom noted they may be able to accommodate two more.
There were two new member applications.
It was again noted that the Annual Dinner will be held on Sunday January 12, 2020 at Neuman Hall on Rt. 267 next to the Choconut Mkt. Dan to take care of the kitchen. We also need baskets to raffle off.
Bob reads a letter from John Dovin Archery Chairman for Choconut Valley Youth Athletic Association requesting a donation to help purchase new archery equipment for the students. SLR&G Club donated $500.00 last year. There was a motion by Ed Smith and 2nd by Dave Shaffer to Donate $500.00 to CVYAA for their Archery program. All approved.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the January 2020 attendance pool was Richard Holly. Richard was not in attendance and missed out on the pool $23.00. The February pool will be worth $33.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM on a motion by Ron Walter.
Committee Meeting
There were eleven (11) Officers and Committee members present. Reviewed the two (2) new member applications as noted above were reviewed and approved.
