CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President, Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty members present including ten officers and committee members.
Meeting Minutes for the June 13, 2019
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of June 13, 2019 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePoala and 2nd by Jim Mayers II.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for June was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Jim Mayers II. All approved.
June 2019 Regular Checking balance $ 11,793.85
Discipline Savings $ 968.51
Youth Account $ 15,716.34
Savings Account $ 9,322.36
American Funds $ 47,214.15
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –Jim Mayers II)
Jim noted that there were 29 shooters at the July 3D shoot. Total income for the day was $350.00. Registration took in $280.00 and the kitchen took in approximately $70.00.
Jim thanked Tom Oleniacz for all the work he did to get the course ready. Jim also thanked Ron Jacoby for helping with the registration and the kitchen. Almost every shooter noted how much they liked the course set up.
Ed to post winners on the website.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred was not in attendance. Norm McPherson noted that the ATA shoot held on June 24th took in $429.50. The Friday night open trap shoots for the past month took in a total of $830.50.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that all was good with the indoor range. It was noted that Tom turned in $205.00 from the range fee box.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron was not in attendance, no report. Jim Mayers II noted that Ron Jacoby has repaired the Gator and it is back on site.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that there was nothing to report.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted the last monthly PFSC meeting was “a strange meeting”. They did not have a quorum so there were only idle discussions.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The July 2019 gun winner is Sam Salamida Ticket # 251. Telephone # 607-725-5315.
Sam won a Ruger Precision (AR look) bolt action 22 w/ a synthetic stock.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack noted all is well.
INTERNET WEB SITE (Webmaster Ed Smith)
Ed was not in attendance, therefore, no report.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan noted all is well in the kitchen. It was noted that Critter has donated a used refrigerator for the kitchen.
OLD BUSINESS
It was noted that a new computer and printer has been purchased by the club by Laura Foote. Laura was not in attendance. It was noted that the purchase price exceeded the $1,200.00 authorized at the last club meeting on June 13.
Jim II noted that the new 3D targets have been purchased and are scheduled to be delivered to R&G Sheet Metal shop.
NEW BUSINESS
Jim Mayers II noted the 3D shoots are not shown on the website other than the calendar. Jim asked if there might be someone interested on being the contact or media person to contact local news, TV, and radio to set up free advertising for our events.
It was noted that Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club sold a palette of clay birds to Sidney Trap Club for $683.00.
Bob read an email from Penn State requesting participants to trap and capture ticks and other bugs for research.
Bob brought in a newsletter from PFSC with an article regarding how well the Montrose Archery In the Schools program performed at the National shoot in Kentucky.
There were two new membership Applications;
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the July 2019 attendance pool was Tilman Smith. Tilman was not in attendance and missed out on a pool worth $33.00. The August pool will be worth $44.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM on a motion by Mike DePoala.
Committee Meeting
There were only ten (10) Officers and Committee members present. The number required for a Quorum is eleven (11). Therefore we were unable to vote on the new member applications.
Hopefully we will have a quorum at our August meeting and will be able to vote on admitting new members.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00.
