July 8, 2021
Called to order at 7:05 PM by club President Jim Mayers.
The meeting opened with Pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 15 members present including 8 officers and committee members. There were also 1 new applicants present (Robert Hromalik).
Secretary meeting minutes for June 11, 2021 were read by Jim Mayers , Motion made by Mike DePaola to accept report and seconded by Roger.
Committee Meeting Minutes for July 1, 2021 were read by President Jim Mayers, Motion made by Mike DePaola to accept report and seconded by Jim Mayers Jr.
Treasurers Report- the June treasurers report was read and approved by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Fred Guyette.
June– Regular Checking balance -$5,702.46
June- Discipline Savings Account balance- $6,623.87
Youth Account balance- $ 17,280.14
Savings Account balance- $60,172.56
American Funds Balance- $29,999.78
Royalty Account balance-$1,477.34

Standing Committees
Archery – Officer Jim Mayers Jr. reported on the July13,2021 with 14shooters (5 members and 11 guests. Only 3 cards turned in. Matt Forba high shooter.
Jim turned in 6/13-$248.00 (registration $174.00 and 38.00 food)
Next shoot will be August 1st
Trap – Fred Guyette reported on the ATA registered shoots that with the Pa State Shoot and the NYS shoot starting that the shoots have been 3-7 people.
Still shooting Friday nights but attendance has been slow also.
Money turned in -- Skeet 5/29-6/26 $215.00—Trap 6/18 $274.50, - 6/21 $138 – 6/25 $161- 7/2 $109.25, Total $682.75 and $100.00 kitchen.
Next ATA shoot 7-12-21.
New Trap machines have been ordered and will be here about the middle of August. We will need a couple of people to help to remove old traps and install new ones.
Indoor Pistol Range- Tom Blackman not in attendance no report.
Tom had and accident and has an infection in his leg, Jim Mayers asked if anyone knows how Tom is? A few have seen him around he’s doing better.
Building and Grounds – Chairman Ron Walter reported that garbage bags aren’t to be over 40#
Had to purchase a new wheel for the mower, noted that the wheels and tractor needs to be greased every 10 hours (every other use). Jim Mayers II stated that once a month on the tractor should be fine.
Ron asked about a back hoe to clean the gutter drains. Bob Tucker mentioned that Dave Shafer will have his backhoe there to do the drain for the pistol range maybe can do at that time.
Ron also mentioned that a couple load of stone needs to be ordered, Lori Raub to call Rip Van Winkle and arrange. Zeb Raub asked size 2B’s was agreed upon.
Outdoor Ranges-- Chairman Jack Revie not in attendance.
Bob Tucker commented on the new posts, cable and rubber mats needed, Bob will get with Jack to see where it stands. Post are already installed. Please whoever is shooting them STOP!
PFSC Chairman - Mike DePaola reported Not much happening due to low attendance.
Applicants for fish wardens and game wardens low.
A lot of changes to the game laws suggest everyone go on line and get the latest changes.
12 Gun Raffle – Chairman Fred Guyette –Fred reported that he contacted the winner of last month’s gun (Dave Bicknell)and he chose to take the 300.00 dollars.
July’s winner-Seth Everitt won the Henry Golden Boy .22 cal. with octagon barrel. Fred to contact Seth.
Supplies – Chairwoman Reggie Raynor - not present Fred reported all is good and Reggie and Jack Raynor are doing well with keeping up with the supplies. Jack has surgery on his back and is getting around pretty good, but still using his walker.
Internet Website - Ed Smith not present no report
Kitchen Dan Hungerford noted all is good, all the big events over.
Old business – Fred reported that he contacted Karl on the water t6ank and chlorine system and we need a new plastic tank because the old metal one leaks. Karl to take care of.
New business –Jim Mayers Jr needs to replace some archery targets and noted that we had voted on getting 5 new ones every year to keep targets in good condition. The was thinking because shooter registrations are low that he was looking at 3 larger targets.
Matt Forba can get the targets at a 20% discount.
The targets that Jim is looking at are Catalina Goat $299.00-with disc. $233.00
Pronghorn=439.00 with discount $336.00
Woodland Boar = 129.00 with disc $99.75
Gazelle= $438.00 with disc $351.00
Razor Back Boar = $420.00 w/disc $336.00
Fallow Deer = $439 with disc $351.00
Tom Oleinacz noted that when he was running the Archery $1500.00 a year was approved.
Tom also noted that we get 2 wolverine replacement centers for around $80.00 each
IT was agreed that we purchase the Catalina Goat, Gazelle, fallow Deer and the Wolverine replacement centers. For a total of $1095.00
Motion made by Dan Hungerford and seconded by Fred Guyette to purchase the targets, all approved.
Pres. Jim Mayers had 2 Barrel of bucks Tickets for the club. Bob Tucker noted that they needed to be purchased right away, that sending in Mail will probably not get there in time.
A motion was made by Fred Guyette and seconded by Bob Tucker to purchase the tickets.

Tom Oleinacz noted that he has the school archery students practicing on temporary coarse set up next to the storage container by the lower trap field.
Practices are for the month of July Saturday mornings 8:30AM-10:30AM and Wednesday evenings 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
Fred mentioned that the porches at the Trap Lounge and the main building needs to be Power washed and sealed if anyone would like to help.
Jim Mayers asked about a fall work day? To be decided at the next meeting.
Jim Mayers also noted that we need to form an election Committee for January’s meeting.
