CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President, Bob Kuhn, The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were nineteen members present including eleven officers and committee members
Meeting Minutes for the May 10, 2018
The meeting minutes of May 10, 2018 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for May 2018 was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $22, 624.89
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $ 3,727.38
Youth Account balance ------------------- $7,715.33
Savings Account balance ----------------- $9,319.26
American Funds balance ----------------- $43,800.75
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne noted that the scheduled 3D shoot held on June 10th had 34 shooters. The registration and kitchen took in $413.75
Christi-Anne noted another problem. “Someone had a party and left the clubhouse a mess”.
Bob Kuhn noted that some tables from the Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot were left up for the 3D Archery shoot. Christi Anne and Scott said there was food left and they had to clean it up.
Bob noted there was no food on the tables when he was there on Saturday.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted all is well with Trap. Bob Kuhn read off all the winners and places for the Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot. See website for all results.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman, Tom not present)
It was noted that the new steel is ready to be delivered.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter, Ron not in attendance)
Fred Guyette noted a need for a new weed whacker.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie, Jack not present)
Dave Shaffer noted that he and Tom Blackman would be running the next Cowboy shoot.
Registration at 9:00 A.M., All are welcome.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike reported that the last PFSC meeting was held at Blue Ridge. The discussion was related to CWD. The Youth Field days will be held at Canawacta on September 22.
PFSC raffle tickets are available. See Mike or Ed and get a handful of tickets.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The June 2018 gun winner is Terry Oldman from Kirkwood. Phone number 607-761-4512. Winning ticket was #179. Mr. Oldman won a Mossburg “Patriot” rifle w/a wood stock and blued barrel in 7mm-08.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack noted all is well. If anyone needs supplies, please call Jack’s house.

Ed noted all is well with the website.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford)
Dan reported the kitchen is good. Dan noted that he had 40 dozen cupcakes delivered for the Roger Everitt shoot. All BBQ chicken was sold out.
OLD BUSINESS
Tom Oleniacz reported the huge success by the Montrose Area Archery in the Schools program had at the Nationals held in Kentucky this spring. Tom noted that 55 kids from the Montrose area were able to attend the Nationals and that all registrations were covered by the donation from Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club. Tom presented Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club with a plaque from the Montrose Area Archery in the Schools Program in appreciation for the donation.
NEW BUSINESS
It was noted that the 3D Archery is in need of several new targets and replacement sections.
It was noted that the Spring Work Day was virtually a washout due to the heavy volume of rain that day.
Choconut Valley Youth have raffle tickets available. Fred Guyette made a motion to purchase four tickets at $25.00 per ticket. Two from the Youth account and two from the club account. Motion 2nd by Bob Tucker. All approved.
It was noted that the property to the west of SLR&G Club will be up for sale.
There were four (4) new Membership Applications to review as follows;

ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the June 2018 attendance pool was Les Richard. Les was not in attendance and missed out on a $48.00 pool. The July pool will be worth $58.00
