Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club Regular Meeting June 9, 2022
CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Director Dave Byerly. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were seventeen (17) members present including nine (9) officers and committee chairs. There was also one guest signed in.
Meeting Minutes for the May 12, 2022 Regular meeting The Secretary’s meeting minutes of April 14, 2022 were read by Secretary Jim Mayers. There were two corrections as follows; under Treasurers report, Discipline Savings should have read $15,681.97 and under Archery report kitchen income should have read, $54.00. There was a motion to approve with corrections by Tom Oleniacz and 2nd by Dave Shaffer. All approved
TREASURER’S REPORT The Treasurers report for May 2022 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub and approved on a motion by Jim C. Mayers and 2nd by Roger Marsh, All approved. May 31, 2022 Regular Checking balance $ 5,194.56 Discipline Savings balance $15,681.97 Youth Account balance $ 9,684.56 Savings Account balance $40,616.44 American Funds balance $30,395.93 Royalty Account balance $ 2,756.95 Complete report attached
ARCHERY (Officer –Jim C. Mayers) Jim noted that the June 3D shoot was scheduled for the 2nd Sunday due to the Roger Everitt shoot. Jim noted that he turned in $13.00 from the indoor archery fee box.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette not in attendance) Bob Tucker noted that the Roger Everitt Shoot went well. Full report to follow.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman) Tom not in attendance. No report. GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter) Ron noted all is well. It was noted that the decks at the Trap Lounge and Club House have been sealed.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie) Jack noted that all is well.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola) Mike not in attendance. Ed Smith noted that the Harford Fair was discussed. It was also noted that the Youth Field Day are now called Family Field Day. There were no hunting injuries reported for the first time.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette) The June 2022 gun winner is Kevin Conway Valley Road Friendsville. The winning ticket was #391. Kevin won a Savage Axis 11 XP-w/ scope and wood stock in 25-06 cal.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor) Reggie not in attendance. No report.
INTERNET WEB SITE (Webmaster Ed Smith) Ed noted all is well.. Remember to visit the Members Only to buy, Sell or Trade items. The website address is www.silverlakerodandgunclub.com.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford) Dan not in attendance. No report.
OLD BUSINESS It was noted that the Skeet machines have been down for seven (7) weeks. We need to get them up and running ASAP.
It was noted that the voice activated mikes at the Trap are in need of maintenance; they are not responding and shutting down. Todd Everett requested that a BBQ Pit be installed at the club. It is difficult at best to chase back and forth to the Silver Lake Fire Company pit. We need our own. There is also a request for a large refrigerated cooler for the Club. Tom Oleniacz requested use of the Club grounds for teaching Archery in the School program youths. The area requested is the same as last year. All approved.

ATTENDANCE POOL The winner of the May Attendance Pool was Clark Burr. Clark won. Clark won $9.00 +/-.
