CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President Fred Guyette. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty two (22) members present including eleven (11) officers and committee chairs and ten guests.
Manny Feijoo obituary
Secretary Jim Mayers read Manny Feijoo’s obituary. Manny supplied the vast majority of the guns we raffle off every month for many years
Archery In the Schools Scholarships
Tom Oleniacz introduced Dilan Rafferty and Hayliegh Krupinski as the top senior high school male and female archery participants in the Archery in the Schools program. A check for One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) was presented to each from Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club through the Gun Bingo fund raisers.
Meeting Minutes for the May 11, 2023 Regular Meeting
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of May 11, 2023 were read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers. There were no exceptions to the minutes. There was a motion to approve as read by Ed Smith and 2nd by Mike DePaola All approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for April 2023 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub and approved on a motion by Tom Blackman and 2ndTom Oleniacz, All approved.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer – Matt Forba)
The 3D shoot on Sunday May 21st had a total of 16 shooters
There was no report on the income for this event
Registration is from 8:00 AM until 12 noon.
The new 3D targets ae expected by July.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred read off the list of winners for the Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot. Held on June 3 & 4.
Fred also read of a list of donors, those who helped to make the event successful and also the numerous sponsors. Fred expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all.
Friday afternoon/evening Trap is ongoing. It was noted that the Club has purchased a pallet of 12 gauge shot shells. Club members may purchase these shells at $90 per flat
Friday Trap money as follows; 5/12 $320.00, 5/19 5/22 $598.00, $5/26 $180.00, 6/2 $180.00
Friday Skeet money as follows; 5/12 $70.00, 5/19 $70.00, 5/26 $85.00, 6/2 $45.00
Next scheduled ATA shoot 6/22/23.
County League Hallstead rain date is scheduled for July 2nd.
Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club will have two teams in the Susquehanna County Trap League.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted all is well. Tom also noted that he turned over $29.00 from the range fee box. Tom also noted he received $40.00 for the brass.
Tom noted that new target hangers have been installed.
The painting of the raw wood walls is in a holding pattern
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron not in attendance.
It was noted that the new BBQ pit was used for the Roger Everitt Memorial Tournament. Everyone is very happy with the new setup.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that all is well. Jack also stated that he needs volunteers to help rehab the 100 yard shooting house. Siding needs to be replaced, Center post needs work, gravel inside needs to be placed. Andy Castelli volunteered to help.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted that he has PFSC raffle tickets. Three for $10.00.
Mike noted that they did not have a quorum for the last PFSC meeting.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The June 2023 winner is Gary Hill. The June raffle was for an Savage Axis II 22-250 rifle with wood stock and a 3x9 rifle scope.
Fred to notify Mr. Hill. We are now utilizing Donuts and Ammo for our twelve Gun Raffle now that Manny has passed away.

OLD BUSINESS
It was noted that there was a scheduling conflict between the 4H Fun Day and the Silver Needles Quilt club. Both were scheduled for the 3rd Saturday in May. The Quilt club has been meeting on the third Saturday for several years. It was noted this should not happen in the future.
NEW BUSINESS
There were two (2) new membership applications read as follows;
It was noted that the next PFSC meeting for July 27 is at Silver Lake
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the May attendance pool was Bob Tucker. Bob won $10.50.
