CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 26 members present including thirteen (13) Officers and committee members, and two (2) guests.
Meeting Minutes for February 9 2017
The meeting minutes of February 9, 2017 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dennis Byerly.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Due to Bette being out of town for the February meeting, both January and February reports were read.
The Treasurer’s report for January 2017 was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman) ChristiAnne not present.
It was noted that the Winter Indoor Archery League is under way.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred was not in attendance.
Norm McPherson noted that all was going well with the Winter Trap League.
Bob Tucker noted that he has submitted the dates for the ATA shoots. Bob Tucker to provide the official dates to Ed Smith to be put up on the club website.
Bob Kuhn read the Susquehanna County League dates. All dates to be on the club website.
Bob Tucker made a motion that the club sponsors a club team and possibly a 2nd team if enough shooters show an interest. Dave Shaffer 2nd the motion. All approved.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that he turned over $87.00 for January from the fee box and $106.00 from the fee box for February.
This is also the last week for the Sporter Rifle league. Dave Byerly will take over the Sporter Rifle League duties.
Tom noted that the rubber at the backstop is totally shot up and needs replacing. This will be a Spring Work Day project.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that all is well.
Ron noted that he had priced the 3’ x 3’ stone stations for the skeet range. The price for the slabs is $450.00 for the 9 pieces. There was a motion by Ed Smith to purchase the 9 stone slabs for $450.00. Motion 2nd by Jim Mayers, All approved. There was an amended motion by Bob Kuhn to add an extra stone. Motion 2nd by Ron Walter. All approved.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted the first shoot of the season is scheduled for Easter Sunday, all are welcome.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted the last meeting was held at Lawton. Routine discussions including the 2017 Harford Fair. See club website for legislative items discussed.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The March 2017 gun winner is John Vostisek 1302 Summit Street, Endicott, NY. John won a Ruger 77 Hawkeye 280 Remington cal rifle w/ ss bbl and synthetic stock.
The winning ticket number was #041.
Karl to notify Mr. Rose.

OLD BUSINESS
A Thank you card from Choconut Valley Archery In the Schools Program from Chris McComb was received and read regarding our donation to their program.
Dave Shaffer noted that he will complete the work at the new trap lounge this next week.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussed request from Grace Baptist church to use the trap range on Saturday April 8 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. It was agreed that Jack Raynor will run the trap equipment and Grace Baptist will pay $4.00 per round per person.
Ken Barnes noted that the Silver Lake Fire Company will commence selling their Barrel-O-Bucks in the very near future and will sell out quickly. A motion was made by Karl Eschbach that Silver Lake Rod and Gun Club purchase two tickets at $100.00 per ticket. Motion 2nd by Bob Elliott. Motion carried and approved.
It was also noted that Choconut Valley Youth Athletic Association has raffle tickets for their event. Anyone interested may purchase tickets.
Tom and Patty Blackman will be conducting another handgun class for the ladies. This training will take place at the club on Saturday April 8, 2017. There are three spots still open. Call Tom or Patty.
Bob Kuhn presented Jim Mayers with a Life Time Membership Certificate.
Bob also presented Ron Walter a jacket for his extra efforts in helping complete the work at the new trap lounge.
There were seven (7) new member applications.
It was determined that the Spring Work day will be Saturday April 22, 2017 Breakfast served till 8:00 AM. Jim Mayers to get a Spring Newsletter out.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the March 2017 attendance pool was Tom Norton. Tom was not in attendance and missed out on a $109.50 pool. The April attendance Pool will be worth $120.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM on a motion by Dave Shaffer.
