CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:10 by Club Vice President, Dan Hungerford, The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty four members present including twelve officers and committee members and two guests.
Meeting Minutes for the February 14, 2019
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of February 14, 2019 were read and approved on a motion by Dave Shaffer and 2nd by Roger Marsh.

The minutes for the Committee Meeting held on March 6, 2019 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePoala and 2nd by Roger Marsh
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for February 2019 was read by Jim Mayers and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Byerly.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $13,897.55
Discipline Savings balance -------------- $ 8.903.58
Youth Account balance ------------------- $11,062.95
Savings Account balance ----------------- $9,321.36
American Funds balance ----------------- $43,030.43
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne noted that she has not had the opportunity to physically check the 3D course yet.
Christie Anne also noted that she has flyers for the upcoming 3-D Archery season. She also noted that she has ordered new signs. ChristiAnne further noted that she will be inspecting the
3-D targets to determine what targets need to be replaced. ChristiAnne confirmed this is her last year as Archery Chair.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted all is well with trap. The Winter Trap is ongoing and well. The registered shoots will commence on April 8th. Fred to provide dates for the upcoming Registered shoots to Ed for inclusion on the website. Fred has $792.00 dollars to turn over to Bette. Fred turned the money over to Jim Mayers to give to Bette. Fred will be getting a price quote for new birds.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted all is well with the Indoor Range. Tom also noted he has $269.00 from the range fee box. . Tom also noted the need for additional rubber for the backdrop curtain. We have barrels to use for lead cleanup. We also need to purchase respirators to do the work.
The Sporter Rifle season has concluded. Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club finished with an 11 win and 10 loss record. The top Silver Lake Shooter was Raylene Coy. Dave to send $160.00 to the NYS Sporter Rifle Association and 240.00 cash to the club.
Dave noted that there will be a Sporter Rifle Association Banquet to be held at Brooks BBQ in Oneonta on April 13th. Dave proposed a motion to send 10 people at $15.00 per person to the banquet. Motion 2nd by Fred Guyette, all approved.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that all is OK. It was noted that a downspout on the north side of the club house needs to be reattached.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack not in attendance (surgery).
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted there was nothing to report.
Ed Smith noted that CWD has spread into Elk country.

12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach)
The March 2019 gun winner is Don Hohn from Brackney. Don won a Mossburg “Patriot” 308 cal. Rifle. The winning ticket # was 594. Karl to notify Mr. Hohn.

NEW BUSINESS
It was noted that the clubhouse flag is flying at half-staff in memory of Bill Conyer.
Dave Shaffer noted that the new Susquehanna County Trap League will be soon commencing. Dave proposed a motion that the Club sponsor a team @ $50.00 plus three additional people at $10.00 per each for the upcoming season. Motion was seconded by Dave Byerly. Motion voted on and approved.
Jim Mayers distributed a copy of the Club Constitution and Bylaws to each officer and committee chair. All are requested to review and submit comments to Jim Mayers II for possible revisions to update the current Constitution and Bylaws.
There were three (3) new membership applications to review as follows;
Tom Oleniacz reported on the Montrose Area Archery In the Schools group who attended the State championship tournament. Montrose took first place in both elementary and middle school class. The high school finished 5th in the state.
Tom noted that the teams will be attending the National Archery In the Schools Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky on May 9th thru May 11th. Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club sponsored the Montrose team(s) last year. There was a motion proposed by Jack Raynor to sponsor the Montrose teams. It was proposed that $1,000.00 from the Youth Fund and $1000.00 from the General Fund be used to sponsor the teams. The motion was seconded by ChristiAnne. The motion was voted on and approved..
It was determined that the trap machine will be serviced on April 9th at 9:00 A.M. The rifle range will be closed down from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon on that day.
A thank you card from the Choconut Valley Youth Athletic Association Archery program was read.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the March 2019 attendance pool was Roger Marsh. Roger WAS in attendance and won $146.75. The April pool will be worth $12.00.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM on a motion by Mike DePoala.
