CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President Fred Guyette. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty four (24) members present including fourteen (14) officers and committee chairs and five guests.
Meeting Minutes for the February 9, 2023 Regular Meeting
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of February 9, 2023 were read by Secretary Jim E.Mayers. There were no exceptions to the minutes. There was a motion to approve as read by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Jim C. Mayers All approved.
The Committee Meeting Minutes for February 16, 2023 were read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers. There was one noted addition; The 2023 Honorary Member list should include Paul DiBiasi, Chris O’Reilly and Bud Sodon. A motion from Todd Everett to approve the minutes as corrected. Motion was seconded by Ron Walter. All approved
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for January 2023 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub and approved on a motion by Ron Walter and 2nd Tom Blackman, All approved.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –Jim C. Mayers, Matt Forba)
Matt noted all is quiet with nothing to report.
The Indoor Archery “League” is ongoing, all are welcome to join.
3D season to commence on Sunday April 16th. New 3D targets to be ordered.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Friday night Trap is ongoing.
The Winter Trap League is to conclude this Friday. Five Stand will be utilized.
Monies received from Trap & Skeet;
Trap on 2/10 was $472.00, 2/17 was $330.00, 2/24 was $265.00, 3/3 $322.00
Kitchen $104.00
Skeet on 2/10 was $70.00, 2/13 was $75.00.
A Trap party is scheduled for Saturday April 1. 2023. Bring a dish. All are welcome.
ATA shoot scheduled for April 3rd.
The County Trap League is scheduled to meet at Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club on April 23. We will need the kitchen.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted all is good. Tom turned in $92.00 from the Range Fee box.
It was noted that the SporteRifle League has concluded
Tom noted that he will be conducting handgun classes on Tuesday March 14th and 21st. The Indoor Range will be closed from 6 PM until 9 PM both nights.
Tom also noted that he will be changing the rubber now that SporteRifle season has finished.
Tom will coordinate the removal of lead.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted that there is a lot of firewood to be split moved into the shed..
Ron also noted the need for off road fuel. Matt McPherson will deliver 100 gallons of required off road fuel.
Time Out Called by President Fred Guyette
Fred called a timeout to present Robert Spancik, 4H Shooting Sports representative, a Large check in the amount of $1,500.00 from the Club. Mr. Spancik was accompanied by his daughter Jamie. Mr. Spancik noted how much the 4H appreciates all that Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club does to encourage young people to use and enjoy shooting sports.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that all is well.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted that trout stocking is in progress in the area. It was also reported that Representative Maloney is proposing no antler restrictions for seniors. There is also a Senate bill #67 to open Sunday hunting.
Mike also reminded all that the Club receives 40% of the proceeds from ticket sales.
Mike stated that the next PFSC meeting will be at SLR&G Club on March 23rd from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The March 2023 winner is Jan Rosenkrans . Phone # 570-767-1477.. The March raffle was for a Winchester SXP 12 ga. Pump shotgun. The winning ticket was #155. Fred Guyette to notify Ms. Rosenkrans.

Pete noted all is ok. Jeff Rosenkrans has proposed cleaning and painting the kitchen for $1,400.00
OLD BUSINESS
Fred noted that the February 18 Gun Bingo held at Tall Pines Players Club was a huge success .
Fred also reminded everyone to turn in all 12 gun raffle tickets and money.
NEW BUSINESS
Fred noted that we are planning a Handgun Bingo on March 25th at Tall Pines Players Club. Fred read the description of jackpot and buy in guns.
The Spring Work Day has been scheduled for Saturday April 22. Breakfast at 7:00 work to commence at 8:00 AM.
Also the club house will be closed on May 1st in order to refinish the floor
There were four (4) New Member Applications, as follows;
Jim C. Mayers noted that the Constitution and By-Laws needs to be reviewed and revised.
