CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:15 PM by Club President Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and moment of silence for those protecting our security. There were 20 members present including 12 Officers and committee members.
Secretary Meeting Minutes for April 14, 2016
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of April 14, 2016 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Byerly.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The March 2016 Treasurer’s Report was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dennis Byerly.
April Regular Checking – Balance $6,642.74
April Disc. Savings – Balance $2,943.42
April Youth Account - Balance $4,200.70
April Savings Account - Balance $10,373.21
April American Funds- Balance $49,739.52
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer Jordan Parsons) (Jordan not in attendance)
It was noted that the 2st 3-D shoot was canceled without notice due to rain. It was further noted that shooters who came to shoot around 11:00 found the club empty and locked up.
It was noted that Jordan will be made aware that shoots are not to be canceled due to inclement weather. Someone is to be in attendance to register shooters until the scheduled time.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette, Fred on vacation)
Norm McPherson noted that due to the unfavorable weather, attendance has been slow on Mondays and Fridays.
Norm noted a pallet of birds was sold to the Miller Mountain Gun Club for $600.00. Also received a $20.00 tip.
The Roger Everitt Shoot is scheduled for June 4th and 5th. It was made known that raffle baskets are needed and there will as usual be a chicken BBQ. Volunteers are requested.
The Susquehanna Trap League shoot at Silver Lake Rod and Gun Club on April 24th, took in $748.00 in trap fees and $157.00 for the kitchen.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Sam Williamson)
Sam noted that he sent a check to the NYS Sporter Rifle Assoc. in the amount of $69.00 for 2015-2016 week 12 thru week 21 for Silver Lake Rod and Gun Club fee on March 22.
Sam also noted that he has turned over $118.00 cash for Indoor Range fees for the Sporter Rifle Season for weeks 12 thru 21. In addition, Sam turned over $116.00 from the Range Fee Lock Box collected on 4/13/16. Sam also turned in $52.00 from the Range Fee Box collected on 5/12.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter, Ron not in attendance, no report)
Dennis States noted that he has stone raked and seeded the disturbed area where construction has been completed.
It was also noted that the overhead doors are not on site.
Pat McPherson to commence pulling the electrical service work next week.
Jack Raynor to work on site restoration.
Ron noted that grounds are torn up due to the Trap Lounge expansion project. Sewer line and utility trenches are open and work is expected to be completed within a day or so.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted the SASS resumed on April 17th with 23 shooters. The next SASS event is scheduled for this Sunday May 15th.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted that the PFSC meeting was held at Hallstead. There was a lot of discussion regarding the Fish and Game Conservation officers’ lack of adequate health insurance. They are asking for each club to contact their representatives to encourage the Legislators to increase funding for the officers health insurance.
It was noted that electronic range finders are legal for big game. There is also plans to increase hunting license fees.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach, Karl not in attendance)
The May 2016 gun winner is Ed Shelp, ph# 570-553-0227. Ed won a KOFS O/U w/ five chokes. The winning ticket was #441.
All unsold ticket and monies need to be in prior to the next meeting.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack reported all ok with the supplies.
INTERNET WEB SITE (Chairman Ed Smith, Ed not in attendance)
Bob noted that there are corrections needed on the website calendar for Monday Trap.
Abby Onyon has proposed 4H dates to be included on the club website calendar. Mike D. to give them to Ed.
Reminder, there is now a page for Members Only to buy, Sell or Trade items.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Dan Hungerford, Dan not in attendance, no report)
OLD BUSINESS
Saturday May 15 will be Susquehanna 4H Fun Days at Silver Lake Rod and Gun Club. Norm McPherson and the Seidel’s to help.
We still need range fee boxes to be installed with signs.
NEW BUSINESS
There are six (6) new member applications to review and approve.

ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the May 2016 attendance pool was Jack Raynor. Jack was in attendance and won $49.00.
The June attendance pool will be worth. $11.50

There were twelve (12) officers and committee members in attendance. There were six (6) new member applications as noted above. All applications were reviewed and approved.
