Called to order at 7:00 PM by committee chairman Dave Shaffer/Pres. Jim Mayers
Attendees: Pres. Jim Mayers, Vice Pres. Dan Hungerford, Treasurer Lori Raub, PFSC REP Mike De Paola, Directors Dave Shaffer, C Clark Burr, Jim Mayers II, Jack Legg, Karl Eschbach, Dave Byerly, Grounds Ron Walters, SASS Jack Revie, Indoor Range Tom Blackman, Trap Fred Guyette.
Fred Guyette gave a report on the ticket sales going well and all tickets not sold have been received have been redistributed. All tickets that remain out the sellers have been contacted and a positive response was received. All the tickets should be sold by the June Meeting.
Fred also mentioned that the guns have been paid for he has deposited over $3000.00 that’s part of the clubs Profit and over $1000.00 has been received at this meeting.
Dave Shaffer reported on the work party he had on Saturday May 9 for the 100 yard rifle range. They replaced the rubber back stops with new rubber and repaired and reworked the cable suspension cable. Thanks to Bob tucker, Clark Burr and Jack Revie.
Dave Shaffer requested to install new drainage for the 100 yard rifle range. With a cost of $275.00 for #2 stone and $168.00 sleeved drainage pipe that Bob Tucker priced up. A vote was cast and approved to proceed with the project. Dave to arrange a work party to install.
Dave Shaffer commented on the steel frame he donated to be used on the long rifle range. It was discussed that the intent is to support 2 rubber mats from chain. Work to be done when weather is dryer.
Jim Mayers had a request from Mr. McCarthy that the skeet houses be painted white to better see the exiting clay birds. The committee approved. Jim to arrange for the work to be done with the skeet shooters.
Ron Walter commented the locks have been changed and one of the new locks didn’t set as per the instructions, Lori to return lock and replace with a new one. Jim and Fred to pick lock number for the Trap lounge drawer and outside money box.
Tom Blackman commented on the center light fixture (red) in indoor pistol range had been shot. Discussion on the light and all lights how to protect, Fred to make a sample to try.
Tom and Dan commented on the safety of range due to the number of shots being in the ceiling. There was a discussion on the Safety of all the ranges and the overlapping. Dave, Tom and Jack to have some suggestions on the safety guidelines for the outdoor and indoor ranges. All were in agreement to have for a safety plan for all venues at next committee meeting.
Dan reported on the opening of New York clubs and the safety and practices that are being done due to the COVID-19. All committee chairman to have suggestion for the June meeting.
There was a discussion on New members to have an orientation prior to using any venue.
That the sponsoring member to review all the venues safety and layout with the new member prior to them using.
Tom Blackman volunteered to have an indoor range safety review with members new and old, all they have to do is call and make arrangements with him. More to come at next meeting.
Jim Mayers Jr. to have an outdoor Archery work day on Saturday 5-16 at 2:00. he has contacted people from the member list. All outdoor ranges to be closed during the work.
Ron Walter- Grounds- something needs to be done with the wet spot around the flag pole. Dave Shaffer noted that we will address when the 100 yard range project is completed.
Bob Kuhn noted that the main sign coming into the club needs to be redone. Suggestions to contact Rick Rosenkranz to see if he would give us a price. This lead a discussion By Dave/Dan that all signage be addressed, Safety range fee signs and possibly something to the effect of Think Safety.
New Members applications were reviewed and accepted.

Fred suggested a sign in sheet for all venues. To have more discussion as we prepare to reopen for the COVID-19 reopening.
Dave Shaffer suggested we sell the .22 rifles in the safe that are no longer being used. All the committee agreed for the sum of $400.00 each. Dan Hungerford to be in charge of the sales on a first come first serve bases for members. Dan to put on the “for sale and trade” on our web site.
Gun Raffle for March was Colin Karl – Savage Axis II Pkg, 243 cal, Stainless, Syn Stock
April was Ken Matthews- IAC Model 97(Winchester replica) 12 gage, wood stock
May was Lyndon Van Winkle – Winchester Long Beard, 20 gauge with Camo Stock
