CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:05 by Club President Fred Guyette. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty three (23) members present including fourteen (14) officers and committee chairs and five guests.
Meeting Minutes for the April 13, 2023 Regular Meeting
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of April 13, 2023 were read by Secretary Jim E. Mayers. There were no exceptions to the minutes. There was a motion to approve as read by Ron Walter and 2nd by Mike DePaola All approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for April 2023 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub and approved on a motion by Jim C. Mayers and 2nd Mike DePaola, All approved.

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer – Matt Forba)
The first 3D shoot was held on Sunday April 16th. Total number of shooters was sixteen including six club members.
The next 3D shoot is scheduled for Sunday May 21st. Registration is from 8:00 AM until 12 noon.
The new 3D targets ae expected by July.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Friday afternoon/evening Trap is ongoing. The latest ATA shoot drew 14 shooters. Registration took in $412.00 and the kitchen took in $200.00.
It was noted that the Club has purchased a pallet of 12 gauge shot shells. Club members may purchase these shells at $90 per flat
Friday Trap money as follows; 4/13 $460.00, 4/21 $251.00, 4/28 $120.00, 5/5 $210.00,
Friday Skeet money as follows; 4/13 $95.00, 4/21 $82.00, 4/28 $45.00 Total $222.00.
County League Hallstead rain date is scheduled for July 2nd.
Silver Lake Rod & Gun Club will have two teams in the Susquehanna County Trap League.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted all is well. Tom also noted that he turned over $178.00 from the range fee box. It was also noted that the indoor range is being cleaned regularly by those using the range.
Tom’s next hand gun class is scheduled for next Thursday at 9:00 AM
Jim Mayers read a note from Raelene Coy, SporteRifle Captain. Raelene noted that we had an average of 7 shooters per week. Two team members won awards. Dave Shaffer won 1st place in the Marksman category and Raelene Coy won Top Shooter, 1st Master and 1st Woman.
A total of $403 dollars was collected. Our dues came to $129.00 that was sent to NYS SporteRifle. The remaining $274 in cash was turned in to the Club.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted all is well.
The slab for the new BBQ pit has been poured and the framing has been completed.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted that all is well. Jack also stated that the cable on the 100 yard rifle range has been replaced and new rubber mats have been installed.
Jack also requested that those using the 100 yard range keep their targets low on the rubber mats
to avoid hitting the cable.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted that he should have PFSC raffle tickets for the next Club meeting.
Mike also stated with new members there are a number of things “up in the air”. It was also noted that the new governor appointments are almost complete.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The May 2023 winner is Jeff Hatrman. The May raffle was for an American Tactical KOFS .410 O/U shotgun. Bob Tucker will notify Mr. Hartman.

KITCHEN_ (Chairman Pete Holleran)
Pete noted all is ok. Pete also expressed that the new kitchen look is very nice.
OLD BUSINESS
Bob Tucker noted that he tried repairing the wheels on the movable scoring chair. Bob stated the wheels and plates need to be replaced with new.
The Roger Everitt Memorial Shoot is scheduled for June 3rd and 4th. Need volunteers to cook chicken on Saturday and Sunday. We also need raffle baskets and donations.
Mike DePola will have shotshell hulls and powder for sale.
We also need volunteers to bake cupcakes
NEW BUSINESS
It was noted that we need someone to volunteer for the Shooting Sports Fun Day on Saturday May 20.
There were five (5) new membership applications read as follows;

ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the May attendance pool was Jack Revie. Jack won between $10 and $12.00
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:45
