CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:04 by Club President, Bob Kuhn. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty five members present including fourteen officers and committee members.
Meeting Minutes for the October 10, 2019
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of October 10, 2019 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for June was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer, All approved.
October 2019 Regular Checking balance $ 10,213.71
Discipline Savings $ 2,046.36
Youth Account $ 14,266.34
Savings Account $ 9,323.25
American Funds $ 47,809.12
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –Jim Mayers II)
Jim noted that there was nothing to report other than there will be no “official” Winter Archery League.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred turned in a total of $997.25 from the Friday night Trap Shoots. These Friday night shoots included 10/11/19- $173.75, 10/18/19 - $112.50, 10/25/19 Big 50 - $542.00, 11/1/19 Big 50 - $74.50, 11/8/19 Big 50 - $94.20.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom was not in attendance.
Jack Revie noted all is well.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron noted all ok. Need to fix floodlight on flagpole.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
It was noted that there was nothing to report. SASS has shutdown.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted typical meeting with nothing special to report.
It was noted that Sunday hunting was discussed and the Farm Bureau was putting up the most against.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach, not in attendance)
The November 2019 gun winner is Ed Jackson 200 4th Street, Hallstead, PA 607-377-4854. Winning Ticket# 141. Ed won a Winchester XPR 30-06 blued bbl w/ synthetic stock.

It was noted that there is no need for a dumpster
NEW BUSINESS
Erin Shaffer (Cub Scouts Pack 50) thanked the club for last year’s donation of $300.00. She requested the Club to contribute the same amount this year; she also noted there will be a Breakfast with Santa on Sunday 12/15 at Neuman Hall on 267. Breakfast will be from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Cost is $6.00 advance and $8:00 at the door.
Motion by Dave Shaffer to donate $300.00 to the Cub Scout Pack 50. Motion 2nd by Mike DePaola, All approved.
A letter of Thanks from PennState Extension’s Brent D. Hales Associate Dean , College of Agricultural Sciences, Director of Penn State Extension. For the Club donation for the 4-H Shooting Sports Program for the Susquehanna County Youth.
A request from Arrowhead Bible Camp for $500.00 was read. Motion by Fred Guyette to donate $500.00 (as in previous years) for their Archery Program. Motion 2nd by Dave Shaffer. All approved.
Dan to provide a new thermostat for the club house NTE $70.00
It was noted that we owe back taxes for 2016 - $1,980.00, 2017 - $1,700.00 and 2018 – 1,600.00.
It was again noted that the Annual Dinner will be held on Sunday January 12, 2020 at Neuman Hall on Rt. 267 next to the Choconut Mkt. Dan to take care of the kitchen. We also need baskets to raffle off.
There were two (2) new membership Applications as follows;
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the November 2019 attendance pool was Dave Byerly. Dave was in attendance and won the $28.00 pot. The December pool will be worth $12.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM on a motion by Mike DePaola.
Committee Meeting
There were fourteen (14) Officers and Committee members present. Reviewed the two (2) new member applications as noted above were reviewed and approved.
It was noted that the Constitution and By-Laws review Committee will meet again Mon 11/25 at 7:00 PM at the Choconut Inn to complete their review and recommended changes.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15.
