October 8, 2020
Called to order at 1905 by club President Jim Mayers.
The meeting opened with Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were 23 members present including 11 officers and committee members. There were also 6 new applicants present.
Meeting Minutes of September, 10 2020 were read by Secretary Laura Foote with a motion made by Mike DePaola to accept report with minor documentation updates and seconded by Fred Guyette. Motion approved unanimously
Treasurers Report of September 10, 2020 meeting was read by Lori Raub with a motion made by Fred Guyette to accept report as read, seconded by Mike DePaola. Motion approved unanimously
September – Regular Checking balance -$2,223.87
September - Discipline Savings Account balance- $12,148.28
Youth Account balance- $ 15,843.09
Savings Account balance- $7,475.44
American Funds Balance- $49,163.22
Royalty Account balance - $57.68
Total Balance $86,911.58
Standing Committees
Archery – Officer Jim Mayers Jr. reported pickup/end of season target cleanup and pack up occurred September 27 with approximately 20 people showing up to help. Cleanup took less than an hour.
Challenge coins for Archery have arrived and look good.
Tom Oleniacz club champ 285 (25 x’s)
An awards plaque with plates for Silver Lake is to be picked up
Trap – Fred Guyette reported that ATA approved Big 50 shoots every Friday through 1/29/2021.
Fred turned in Skeet and Trap monies of $664.15 and $436.65
Meat shoot will be held on Sunday November 1st beginning at 9 AM
Winter League will begin January 2021
Indoor Pistol Range- Tom Blackman not in attendance. Dave Shaffer reported that the indoor range is being used.
Building and Grounds – Chairman Ron Walter was not in attendance. It was reported by Dave Byerly that the cordless phone battery downstairs goes dead after about one minute. A new battery is needed.
Outdoor Ranges-- Chairman Jack Revie reported the range is being used and all is good. Jack turned in $130.00
PFSC Chairman - Mike DePaola reported that the youth field day will become family field day as there were > 50 participants attending this year and it was a successful event.
12 Gun Raffle – Chairman Karl Eschbach not in attendance.
October winner- William Ruschetti ticket #455 - won American Tactical (KOFS) 20 ga. O/U, 5 choke tubes and injectors.
Supplies – Chairwoman Reggie/Jack Raynor not in attendance, no report.
Internet Website - Ed Smith not in attendance, no report.
Kitchen - Dan Hungerford not in attendance, no report.
Old business – It was noted that the invoice has been received from Karl Eschbach and will be taken care of. Karl will install the unit but do not have a date as to when this will occur.
Facebook page being updated/maintained by Lou Schreiner who reported followers and viewers continues to increase as well as receiving questions regarding the club.
Fred will look into design for challenge coins for Trap.
Jim Mayers and Fred Guyette will go get multi stack Skeet machines from Peckville, Tuesday September 13th.
Dave Byerly noted this is the 3rd week of Sporter Rifle. There were six shooters (open sights) shooting in both week 1 and week 2.
New business – The incident with Evan Wirth’s gun blowing up was discussed.
An itemized list of first aid kit supplies to be emailed to be ordered.
A potential fall work day was discussed. May need to get a group of experienced guys to take care of firewood. Dave Shaffer will address this.
Fred discussed purchasing an air purifier for the Trap Lounge to maintain safety with the pending cold weather. Fred provided details for the units. A motion was made by Fred Guyette to purchase 1 air sanitization unit for the Trap Lounge, seconded by Dave Shaffer. Motion approved unanimously.
An additional unit for the pistol range area will be discussed at a later date.

Adjournment- with no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 1951 on a motion by Fred Guyette and 2nd by Dave Shaffer. Motion approved unanimously
Committee Meeting- after regular meeting, there were 11 officers and committee members in attendance. The seven (7) new applicants were reviewed with all unanimously voted to approve membership.
With no further business to discuss the Committee meeting was adjourned at 2000
