CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:03 by Club President, Bob Kuhn, The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty two members present including sixteen officers and committee members and one guest.
Meeting Minutes for the August 9, 2018
The meeting minutes of August 9, 2018 were read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Roger Marsh.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s report for July 2018 was read and approved on a motion by Mike DePaola and 2nd by Dave Shaffer.
Regular Checking Account balance ---- $18, 097.24

STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –ChristiAnne Storman)
ChristiAnne noted that the scheduled 3D shoot held on September 2nd had 28 shooters. Registration and kitchen took in $255.00. There was a used target auction also. The target auction made $435.00. Also turned over $12.00 from the range fee box.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred noted all is well with Trap. There is a Meat Shoot scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The trap motor has a bad bearing that needs to be repaired.
The last scheduled ATA shoot is scheduled for next Monday 9/17.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted that he has turned over $19.00 from the range fee box. Everything else has slowed down.
Need to schedule installation of the new steel for the indoor range and also the lead removal.
The Sporter Rifle League is scheduled to commence the last week in September. The league runs for 21 weeks. Need new shooters. The first week there is a fee of $5.00, after that the cost is $3.00 per week. Please check in with Dave Byerly if you may be interested. All are welcome.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
It was again noted the subfloor at the handicap toilet is in need of repair.
The lower trap house was flooded during the recent heavy rains. A drain is necessary to be installed to allow any water that gets inside to drain away.
SINGLE ACTION SHOOTING SPORTS (Officer Jack Revie)
The next scheduled Cowboy Shoot is scheduled for next Sunday. All are welcome to come to observe and /or participate.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike reported that at the last PFSC meeting the discussion centered on the Harford Fair and Field Days.
Ed Smith read portions of House Bill 1483 Amendment Title 34. Ed noted this is a very bad bill for sportsmen. Ed recommended all to notify their representatives and express their concerns. See Ed for further details.
PFSC raffle tickets are available. See Mike or Ed and get a handful of tickets.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Karl Eschbach, Karl not in attendance)
The September 2018 gun winner is Joann Kublo. No further information was available on the winning ticket. Joann won a Browning X Bolt 270 cal. rifle. Fred Guyette to notify Ms. Kublo.
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Jack noted all is well. If anyone needs supplies, please call Jack’s house.

Dan reported the kitchen is good.
OLD BUSINESS
There was no old business to discuss.
NEW BUSINESS
Ed Smith noted that Linda Alvelo has been paying the annual fee for the Domain Name for the Club website. We have tried in the past to either have Linda turn over the Domain Name rights to us or to pay her to sell us the Domain Name rights. Nothing has ever been resolved.
Need target hangers to be installed at the 200 and three hundred yard rifle range distances. Will try to schedule for the Fall Work Day. Fall Work Day tentatively scheduled for Saturday 10/27.
There were two (2) new Membership Applications to review as follows;
- Kristofer Wright 171 Church St. Great Bend PA. Sponsor Richard Seifert
- Mark R. Lake 1949 Franklin St. Binghamton, NY Sponsor Christi-Anne.
ATTENDANCE POOL
The name drawn for the September 2018 attendance pool was Dan Burch. Dan was not in attendance and missed out on a $79.00 pool. The October pool will be worth $92.00.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM on a motion by Dave Shaffer.
Committee Meeting
The Two (2) new member applications as noted above were reviewed and approved.
Rip VanWinkle made a motion to get the lower trap house motor bearing repaired. Motion to repair motor 2nd by Bob Tucker. All approved.
Dave Shaffer provided an estimate to repair the subfloor at the ADA toilet. Estimate $1500.00 +/-. Motion by Bob Kuhn to approve the estimate NTE $1500.00. Motion to approve 2nd Jim Mayers, all approved.
Jack Raynor provided a quote from Timberline Lawn & RV for a Kubota B2650 tractor with tag behind mower and front end bucket. Quote is with $7,000 trade in for our Kubota. Determined we need to have another Committee Meeting to clarify exact amounts. Committee Meeting scheduled for 9/26 at 7:00 PM
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15.
