CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order at 7:00 by Club President Vice President Dan Hungerford . The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and a moment of silence for those protecting our borders and security. There were twenty two (22) members present including ten (10) officers and committee chairs. There were also four guests signed in.
Meeting Minutes for the August, 2022 Regular meeting
The Secretary’s meeting minutes of August 11, 2022 were read by Secretary Jim Mayers. There were no exceptions to the minutes. There was a motion to approve by Mike DePoala and 2nd by Jim C. Mayers. All approved
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurers report for August 2022 was read by Treasurer Lori Raub and approved on a motion by Mike DePoala and 2nd by Jim C. Mayers, All approved.

Al Robbins from New Milford reported that New Milford is having a Pistol League this winter. Al is inviting Silver Lake Rod & Gun club members, if interested, to join them. The League starts on October 7 at 7:30 PM. The League will run until March 23, 2023.
STANDING COMMITTEES:
ARCHERY (Officer –Jim C. Mayers)
Jim noted that the last 3D shoot for the summer was held on September 4th. There were 31 shooters on hand. (largest crowd of the year).Registration took in $281.00 and the kitchen made $90.00. Total income for the day was $371.00
Jim also noted that he is scheduling 9/24/22 as target pickup and store for the winter day.
TRAP (Officer Fred Guyette)
Fred not in attendance. He is in the Colorado Mountains chasing elk.
Bob Tucker noted the Friday open shoot is ongoing including skeet.
Bob also noted that the Jack Raynor, Jack Legg and the Jerry Homsher Memorial ATA shoot is scheduled for September 18, 2022. Prizes are to be silver bars.
Trap and skeet monies for August to be noted at the October meeting.
INDOOR RANGE (Officer Tom Blackman)
Tom noted all is good. Tom turned in $88.00 from the range fee box.
GROUNDS/BUILDINGS (Officer Ron Walter)
Ron not in attendance. It was noted that all is well.
Outdoor Shooting Sports (Officer Jack Revie)
Jack noted all is well. Jack turned in $117.00 from the range fee boxes.
It was noted that the Vestal PD is using the 100 yd. range for qualifying officers. See website for dates and times.
It was also noted the shooting benches need repair.
PFSC (Delegate Mike DePaola)
Mike noted that there was no meeting in August due to the Harford Fair.
Mike also noted that he has PFSC Raffle tickets.
It was also noted that Family Field Days will be held on Sept 24 in New Milford.
12- GUN RAFFLE (Chairman Fred Guyette)
The September 2022 gun winner is Bruce Beamer. The winning ticket was # 345. Jim E. Mayers to notify Mr. Beamer. The Sept. gun is a Akkar Churchill 12 gauge pump with a pistol grip and 18” BBL. (It is noted that Mr. Beamer declined the gun and accepted the $300.00 instead.)
SUPPLIES (Chairman Reggie Raynor)
Reggie inquired as to what is required for the Memorial Shoot on the 18th. It was determined that hotdogs, hamburgers and sausages will suffice.
